OK, you might have little time besides your work, but that's your "problem". Take your time to read here. I suggest, you start with the pinned "sticky" topics in Beginners & Help. There are a lot of links there mentioned and it's worth to explore many of them.

Pay attention to the Unofficial list of (official) Bitcointalk.org rules, guidelines, FAQ.

I still use that site quite often myself because I like how stuff is presented there and all the interactive elements. Much more entertaining than reading Mastering Bitcoin which is also recommended to work through at some point of time; I read it more than once.

Let me introduce myself a bit, I am a working woman who has been freelancing jobs for the last few years, and I have been noticing Bitcoin in many places whenever I do my research for the job. So, I asked some friends to explain to me about bitcoin and everyone gave their own version of what bitcoin is and other specifics.

And one of them gave me the link to this forum and said this is where I can learn everything about bitcoin so I registered a few days ago and checked out some of the pages and here I am asking to teach me the basics that I should know about bitcoin and anything else if needed.

I don't have any Bitcoin yet, and I am just curious about learning more about it for now.

In this forum, there are local boards that will help you understand it more quickly. I just want to say, set aside time every day to be on the forum, and the first thing you need to prioritize is reading or participating in discussions about wallets to learn how to use them properly, because wallets are essential knowledge for securing your Bitcoin in the future.

Learning before investing in Bitcoin, that's a nice way to start up Bitcoin journey. The mistake you would make is to go into a Bitcoin investment without learning about how to safeguard your investment and invest wisely.

One thing you should know about learning Bitcoin is that it is a continuous process, not something to stop on the way, because every time there is no new thing to grab, if it is to stay away from scams.
