The addicted individual loses bonds with people he loves, loses reputation, credibility and the respect from the society. That is what must burn the most and cause more pain. Addiction to anything is actually regarded aa a psychological issue but it is funny that a lot of people take Addiction to be normal.  Whether it is gambling or drug addiction the dependency on it is what makes it a mental issue that's the reason why it is very difficult to stop an addiction. It's sad to read about situations like this where a family was destroyed simply due to careless handling of gambling that led to its ruin. We often hear about cases of people falling into gambling addiction, and the most common reason is "greed". Any form of addiction is bad because you are taking/doing too much that abused yourself and caused damage which on this case financially.

This is why I don’t recommend or share gambling to someone that is not involved gambling yet they are showing interest because anytime this scenario can happened since we can’t measure someone real tolerance on gambling unless they tried it themselves.

Because of this kind things not every advice is good to collect from our friends as some advice will lead get into a critical situation that find it very difficult to find solution for it, especially when it come to gambling.
