I don’t think you know what it feels like to be addicted to something that’s why you still think it’s weird that people who are addicted to gambling would go as far as to use their assets to gamble. There’s this feeling of unrest, as if your life would end if you don’t do it.

The reason behind this is the psychology, beliefs, and behavior of the gamblers.
Let's use Bitcoin as an example. We believe, and have the psychology that holding Bitcoin will give more benefit due to how we study it behaviour over the years.
The same thing goes for gamblers who are addicted to the game and can use any available funds just to satisfy their gambling orgy. They never mention the bad aspect of gambling with funds thats meant for something more important. In my opinion, calling it a destructive game is feel like that's what it does to anyone that goes into it but that's not true. While education can play a role, I doubt the best schools prevent children from Gambling.  A lot of them become addicted from their entourages, due to a vulnerable point in their emotions or due to a curiosity turned bad.  A lot of the 'most educated' are Gamblers and are throwing hundreds of thousands of Dollars per Gambling session.  Schools can help but they will not do a miracle.

Education can play an important role in shaping a better character, but they can still become addicted to gambling which at first only tries then becomes a more severe addiction and there are always people like this from high education.

I completely agree with you. One of the reasons why addicted gamblers are never satisfied is because they always try to win. They often do not want to accept the reality of losing because their only goal is to make money. Addicted gamblers do not want to believe that they will lose the next bet. They always think positively about winning and they do not want to wait for tomorrow to win. They think that if they get another chance, they will recover the entire amount they lost earlier. I think this is becoming a common theme already, that families are broken because of gambling. Like in this story, the man can't control and become addicted and so his relationships to his family were negatively affected.

Incidents like this are actually quite common nowadays. And the real problem is not gambling or other things that cause him to lose a lot of money. We see this as normal because we are human beings. We normally lose control of ourselves. We're too emotional and easily lose our minds. I know most of us never admit they already fallen into addiction. But our action tells a lot.

This is wrong, and yet we see it happening many times. A gambler can forget his responsibility when he gets too hooked on gambling. This kind of incident could mean that there's a lack of love in the family. A wife of a gambler could actually fix it all by monitoring the husband. A mother could also fix it by trying to change the mind of the son and putting him back on the right path. IMO, family help will always be one thing that can help gambling addicts surpass their problems. Give them something else to be busy with.

You are right... The addict always thinks of recovering the lost money. So when they can manage some money  from somewhere, they go to gamble. another thing I  have noticed is that most addicts are unemployed. They actually have no other job except gambling. And finally they get involved in various immoral activities to earn money for gambling. Also, they  do not think about their society  and family. Their only thought is gambling  and recovering the money. Even if they go bankrupt  , they borrow money and then invest it in gambling.

This is indeed a sad story but things like this happens everytime and even worse, this just tells you how dangerous it can be when ome gets overly addicted to gambling. Gambling itself isn't really a bad thing but it becomes very destructive when you get addicted.  This is qhy they say that gambling is two sides of a coin you can either get some benefits from it or it can end up causing more harm than good

Because when people get involved with gambling while they are going through financial problems, they spend more hours gambling to avoid contact with the people they have problems with, and this causes them to spend money they can't afford to lose.

I've read a lot of stories like this. When someone is severely addicted, this is a completely natural development. I had to pay back a bank loan I lost at the casino for many years. At the time, the amount was significant. I still can't understand how I got myself into all that. I almost ended up selling off my valuables. I came to my senses just in time. The desire to win it back was overwhelming. That's why I got completely caught up in gambling.
