From every day experience and things happening around us, I have made threads and I've read other people's threads concerning gambling, where people that replied to the post often referred to gambling as a game of entertainment, despite the high risk involved people still termed it as fun.

From the Oxford English dictionary, gambling can be defined as "the activity of playing games of chance for money" and entertainment is defined as "the action of providing or being provided with amusement or enjoyment". In  essence, entertainment always ends with laughter and enjoyment, then gambling that at times when we lose ends with regret, sorrow, lost of money and assets, cardiac arrest, bitterness and pains, anxiety, depression, trauma, at times even death, etc. Should we then say gambling is entertainment?

You are only looking at one side of the coin, stating things that make gambling unenjoyable.  But if you widen your horizon and keep our observation keen, there are lots of people who enjoy gambling.  That alone can be called entertainment, regardless of outcome.  

From that we can then classify gamblin whether it is a good form of entertainment or a bad form of entertainment.  And even with that classification, the gambling activity result as an entertainment is still divided.  There are people who gain positive result and there are also people who gain negative result.  And the result ties greatly on the gamblers discipline.

Fine and good. Each to how they're given to understanding of a subject matter or concept. However, let's not kid ourselves, every one gambles for money. Everyone does! Whether gambling is entertainment or stress depends on the individual. A person will consider gambling as entertainment only when he is happy even after losing. Very real..  People like to say gambling is just for fun, but that only sounds true when they are winning haha..  The moment losses start piling up, the fun disappears..  No matter how disciplined someone claims to be, losing money always triggers emotions.

I think it all comes down to each person's perspective and experience. Perhaps for some people, gambling is indeed a form of entertainment, done occasionally during leisure time or when stressed by work routines. As long as there are clear limits or a gambling budget is in place, then it is not a problem. Meanwhile, for others, perhaps for gambling addicts who have experienced the dark side and have often suffered destruction as a result of gambling, they will certainly no longer view gambling as entertainment.
