I got the impression that scammers often use this as protection against tagging, because it is in the interest of the lender that the debtor participates in the campaign and somehow repays the debt. I was in perfect communication with Shasan but after the extension period elapsed, he came suddenly not asking for the loan, he wasn’t even interested  in the loan this but rather he was asking for a 50% of weekly payment which wasn’t going to count towards the loan repayment or its interest and that was where the problem started because it took over one week of constant pleading and even at a point, I told him I was going to pay him $50 per week but he should let it count towards the loan repayment so if I get banned or removed from the campaign I wouldn’t have to be owing him but he bluntly refused.

After the first week of begging, I had to also see reasons with him after several threats that if I don’t accept his terms, he was going to send my campaign manager a message to remove me from campaign without payment,
I had no other choice but to accept paying him $40 weekly from my earnings but I also had to write to the manager to explain things to him and also plead with him to give me a little time to sort things out with Shasan but I guess the manager wrote to Shasan and that was were Shasan got mad and blocked me that I was gossiping about him.

You had to be more careful. You must have been aware that the red tag will completely exclude you from the possibility of earning through signature campaigns. You showed a degree of irresponsibility towards a very important source of income for you. I see only your fault here.

I agree with you, brother; Shasan lent him money with the expectation and trust that you would pay it back on time and on his terms, because he agreed to that. There should be no drama involved when paying. Yes, unforeseen events can happen, but an obligation is an obligation.
All you have to do is pay your debts, even if you have to sell your belongings or borrow from friends or relatives on better terms, and then start fresh in the signature campaign. I'm sure if you are a good poster, managers will still include you in their campaign.

Shasan is a very understanding person. I have taken a loan from him and am repaying it. I discussed my problem with him and told him about it. Shasan should come and swear to this if he never said it and all of a sudden I got removed just the first week we were about to start.

I don't know how lending works on the forum, but lenders (like Shasan in this case) should contact people who find alt accounts (like lovesmayfamilis/nutildah) to assess the risks associated with the account before approving a loan request^*.

Shasan could pay $20 or $50 per month for these accounts, and I think the risk of loan default would be significantly reduced.

Okay, when I mentioned that Obari's reputation can be cleared, I was referring to this loan default charge. There is no reason to complain about anything here, the matter is very simple, he needs to pay back the debt. If he does that, he will show at least a little honourable character.

You still blame shasan for your debt. I'm sure he didn't force you to take that money. If you borrowed money from him, then you must respect his conditions and requirements, that is a very clear rule. Otherwise, if his terms don't suit you, don't borrow from him.

Same thought. But I doubt that all of them will remove the negative tag. I’ve seen similar cases, not only in lending issues, where the problem was already resolved but the red tag remained.
Maybe it’s because they still believe the user is not trustworthy despite settling the issue.
Still, I hope those who supported and tagged this user will reconsider and remove it, especially since he seems to have made a real effort to repay the loan despite what happened to his family.

Leaving me a neutral isn't bad but sincerely I had no single intention to scam the lender because I know the pains of losing money.
I have been through a lot since November and sincerely, i feel bad knowing I'm owing someone, so the moment i got the money, I had to contact Shasan immediately to repay him.

At this point, I just wish everyone can tender justice with mercy and give me a one last chance to survival
