This is really important especially on a job market with high competition. I also experienced a lot of rejection during my first job hunt, and it actually led me to try a different career path. There were a lot of realizations along the way, but I'm glad that I didn't get discouraged, and I'm actually thankful that it happened because it brought me to where I am today.

Rejection is like failure so it is something that is certain to exist in our lives and we cannot force someone to accept us, rejection must be accepted and must be a motivation for introspection that within us there may be shortcomings that are not worthy of doing something/getting something, but we must not be discouraged and we must remain optimistic that we must be able to develop and be better so that we can be accepted on another occasion, I am quite confident that Mcdonald's was not immediately accepted by the community at the beginning, or Cocacola is not accepted directly by the public, there is a phase where we have to gain public trust and recognition.

I read the story of one artist who said they rejected him from playing a role in a movie and he felt so bad but he said something woke up in him after he got rejected, he said he vowed to himself that in few years later, those people that rejected him from acting will also beg for him to feature in their movie and that's what happened. I like the strategic meaning of refusal. My sister doesn't know how to refuse people at all; she strives to help everyone, and I see how difficult it is for her to live with this quality. Sometimes, it IS our fault, for being either lazy or not talented enough. Even in those cases we shouldn't be sad, we should learn from it and try to get better. If not fully skilled or not being prepared should be avoided and must find time to make up and get ready for the next time, otherwise we may keep missing out all better opportunities for sure.

For example, I have a terrible voice, assume I want to become a singer, then it means I can't just go up and sing something, I would be terrible, but that doesn't mean I should be sad and upset and depressed, I need to make sure I can get better, so I use every single minute I have to get better and in return, improve.
