Most times, they will need our help, so that we can come in and help where necessary, we cant take extra time to discover on where the fault lies and try to suggest them on some possible ways that can serves a rescue routes from the addiction, who knows they might be effective if we give a try.
Well, that's what needs to be emphasized. If it's necessary, then we should help them to become better. You're right, we ourselves have things to do, so we can't possibly keep helping them all the time to find a way out of their addiction. Once we've helped them and given them advice, that should be enough, because they should already be aware and have the intention to change. As for how to do it, in my opinion, they must be able to avoid gambling, so when they want to gamble, they must be able to resist doing so. And if this is done with discipline, it may become a better habit.
