I really agree with everything you say. This happened from what I saw myself with the Solana memecoin which has become a huge hype lately, even some memecoins have increased 100% or even 1000%, this is really crazy.
But the problem is that having anything to do with hype will always end in regret in the future when holding for the long term in the hope of getting bigger profits.

For example, $BERA with their proof of liquidity chain is -95% from ATH whereas fart coin is just -65% from ATH. Notice even the shittiest coin with hype can perform better than utility based coin.
