Just wanted to say I find the AML Bot very easy to use and it worked very well in my tries. Wink

So far no blocks or questions asked on any of coins with a low score risk. Cool

I know which provider is used by Wasabi/Peach and several other services, but I don't know this provider well enough to give a definitive answer, as in this particular case, they use an API and NDA. In this particular case, @btc_aml_bot doesn't store or process data, so it only displays the transaction rating as a percentage, plus text and color blocks (trusted/suspicious/dangerous sources), and a mini-recommendation after checks.

However, the limited functionality is also reflected in the price, as @btc_aml_bot's checks fee is below the market average. Prices from services like amlbot.com are significantly higher, even though they don't provide more information than do. In any case, providers generally use roughly the same data pool and cross information, so I'm almost certain that in this particular case, there is no significant difference between the different AML bots.

The only question is the price for the services.

It ends up being the fairest price, without a doubt.
Since it provides roughly the same level of information as more expensive services, it ends up being a better service.

What I "criticize" about these analysis services is that people pay and don't receive information about what actually happened that should have been flagged.

But this already reduces that cost, while providing the same information.

Thanks for sharing. I'll keep an eye out for it.  Wink

I'm not sure if this prompt will reach the developers, but I'll try anyway.  Wink
Is there a possibility to implement the generation of AML reports in the form of an image or pdf? I mean the complete report, with all information, sources, percentage, etc..

For example, i got this:

But I would like a complete report in this format, because it is easier to share, instead of making a screenshot of the Telegram chat.

I've asked a similar question before; note the answer.

I have some doubts as to whether they will give more details about the classification. At least they're cheaper than other services that provide the same information.

I didn't think so much about the details of the analysis, but about getting a report that I can download from the Telegram application and, if necessary, forward or show it to someone else. Now I have to take a screenshot of the Telegram chat, which I think is not ideal.
Since the bot already generates an image with the total percentage, I believe it is not too much of a request to generate an image that will contain the percentages of the source, which it certainly already gives in the results.

So, I would like this automatically generated in the file (jpg, png, pdf... whatever), the AML report

Speaking of this report, how exactly is the total AML score calculated?
In the screenshot shown above, it is clearly seen that the source of coins at the tested address is Exchange Licensed: 83.67%. How the hell is the total risk level 55.33%?

I would say it's not as simple as taking the % of dangerous or suspicious sources and making that the score level.

If you have 10% of "dangerous sources", would you say there is only a 10% chance of getting funds blocked when sending them to an annoying exchange? I would say the chances are higher if it comes from confirmed stolen coins (i.e a big exchange hack).

I've seen an AML scoring service just putting a big warning on an address just because it had a small percentage of coins linked to an exploit. I don't agree with that, but some exchanges will take measures if there is even a small chance you're an "bad actor" trying to launder money (as they would say).

That's clear, but see my screenshot from the previous post.

Trusted sources (>90%):
Other: 7.90%
Exchange Licensed: 83.67%

Dangerous sources (5.96%):
Dark Market: 0.59%
Illegal Service: 0.12%
Mixer: 1.65%
Scam: 0.09%
Gambling: 0.36%
Ransom: 0.07%
Stolen Coins: 2.92%
Sanctions: 0.14%
Enforcement Action: 0.02%

So how <6% "dangerous" source, of which 2.92% were stolen coins, made all funds on that address 55.33% risky.

This is the big problem with AML analysis. The information is so weak that it leaves the person doubting the information they receive.

Perhaps soon some tool will emerge that helps to understand a little more about what is involved in each address. I can't say more for now.
