No body is interested in working for a mean boss so you should be the opposite of that, and while you are recruiting them make sure to be a cheerful person that wears a smile always. During holiday season like Christmas make sure to give them gifts as holiday bonus to make them happy, be a boss that can communicate with your employees and try to understand their needs. Being kind to your employees doesn't mean that you will forget your position as the boss, be kind but don't allow them to abuse your kindness and lastly always pay your workers well so that they will be happy to work for you even in the future.
It is not necessary that all boses are always cheerful but rather the nature of the person whether he or she is real or not is more important. Employees can easily distinguish between those acting and really thinking. If somebody speaks frankly, if they say if they are under pressure and they recognise good work that is more credible. I think the most things that employees want is respect and security. On time pay, not blaming unnecessarily and at least being willing to listen if there is a problem. If these are present, people work as if they are in their place even if they do not do anything special and responsibility for the boss comes naturally.

Snip
You're trying to present kindness as some kind of naive weakness and it's really just that it's bad risk management. Those are different problems altogether. Being kind does not mean being stupid about it. You can be decent to people without having no boundaries. The issue is when people mistake being kind with having no standards or expectations. You can pay fairly, treat people well AND still fire someone who's not performing. These are not contradictory unless you make them that way.
Yes, being kind doesn't mean you have to be weak all the time so that you can be exploited by employees, but there must be boundaries and firmness to show the character of strength as a leader. Treating employees well to maintain balance in a business is a natural and common thing for company leaders to do, but they must have high expectations and take necessary action if their subordinates do not meet standards. It is not about the good or bad nature of the leader, but the direction is towards fairness and professionalism to create harmonious relationships and increase productivity.

And that saying about honest people - sure, honesty is a rarity. But perhaps that's because we've created economies that penalise doing so? When being honest means that you lose opportunities to people who are willing to lie, you're not selecting for honesty. You're only selecting for those who can fake it best. Which seems like just the opposite of what anyone wants.
My teacher once told me, Always prioritize honesty and be willing to work hard because companies don't need smart but dishonest and lazy people who are only a burden to others. Honesty symbolizes everything, a leader can also recognize the character of his employees who really have loyalty and who are just pretending. Abusing the boss's kindness shows the employee's bad character and is unprofessional at work, this kind of behavior will be very detrimental to oneself.

I would like to ask a personal question about when an entrepreneur should look for employees. What is the right way to retain them and keep them interested in your company? I appreciate creative and abstract ideas.
2 great things that can help you are;
1. Understand the peculiarities of each of your staff and treat them according to that. I.e know the limit of stretch each of your staff can go. They can all have thesame job role but not all have thesame work abilities.
2. There's a way you will handle the weak ones that they will give you thesame results that others are giving you. Treat them according to their strength and constant follow ups will give you what ever results you want from them and will even make them have a good relationship with you which will make them last longer on the job.

Employees always try to get more money and that are doing 16 hours of work for the more money and they are getting more income due to over Time . I saw many companies in which they have employees but they are giving no full salary at the start of month and they are utilizing their money. Many people are facing that kind of problems and that is reason they are not in profit because expenses are more than their income and they are in debt. People are earning more and more money from different resources and they are doing 2 to 3 jobs to earn money to meet the expenses of daily life . Employers want to give less money because they want to invest more money in their money and after that they will earn more money but workers will be not happy after that .

The most simplest way to retain employees and make them like the job they are doing is when you pay them with good salary and treat them nicely. Some people don't condon insults when you are trying to prove to them that you are the boss instead of you trying to be frank about what you do without camouflage your altitude. When you have employees you employed and you are giving them incentives for their good works, you might be surprised that everyone will be busy about their work trying to do good job and get incentives too.

I agree with the view that we need to treat them with respect, and should not insult or use harsh language towards them. But I don't think it's necessary to pay them high salaries or become too close to them. We need to maintain a certain distance, because being too lenient or too friendly can easily lead to being looked down on instead. In the workplace, establishing clear boundaries between superiors and subordinates, as well as between employers and employees, to avoid unnecessary troubles.

We don't need to pay them high salaries, we just need to pay them a salary that is commensurate with their dedication and effort. There is no guarantee that paying high salaries will secure their loyalty. Sometimes, this can even lead to them becoming complacent or having an inflated sense of their own abilities.

If you are an entrepreneur who has a company and employees, of course you need to understand many things for your employees so that they survive, as well as in terms of marketing your product. The point is that currently the society's economy is in shambles with high inflation, for this reason you also need to consider it so that layoffs do not occur on a large scale.

We are not talking about economic stability and inflation here, we are talking about employees, which means that to retain your employees, of course you need to.
1. Open communication with your employees, building a positive work culture between owners and other employees.
2. Career opportunities for employees and the need for balance between work and their lives and furthermore adequate salaries in accordance with the employee's own competitive performance.
