They can spend to get these contacts, which might be gotten through data breach the user had their contact information on. Also, they might get these through being same gc as the person or from hacking someone who has your contact account.

I thought about this for a while until I learnt that they have a software that they use to generate phone numbers randomly, they put these phone number together and start calling different people to try out their fraudulent schemes. a lot of Nigerians need to realize that most companies wouldn’t call you directly to deal with little issues like this.  Most people fall for such scams and i wonder why they refuse to be enlightened  or have the knowledge to avoid getting scammed by fake agents.

The truth is, when I receive unsolicited message, what I do is go straight to the point with that person and ask them who they are and if the person is beating around the bush, I will delete and block them. When a stranger message you like that, you should already have it at the back of your mind that it's likely a scam, so be careful not to click any link. Like this if I be scammer I fit just collect any of my friends phone say I wan check something, from their I fit collect people number wey dey important without your notice from their dey send those numbers message. Jiji customer care no go chat you for WhatsApp and if they get any message for you them go send an to your notification on the jiji app. Jiji app no get anything with WhatsApp.
This scam na only people wey no clever e go catch.

Scammers are everywhere now, and they are using different strategies to scam people. Some strategies may not even make logical sense, but if we are not careful, we are just going to fall for them. So everyone needs to be very carefulI don’t really know, but this kind of tactic will not easily catch someone unless that person is totally ignorant and desperate for work. Because someone chatted me up on WhatsApp and was trying to offer me a job when jobs are scarce in the country. In fact, where are these scammers getting people’s numbers from?

This is how someone chatted me up, saying he was get a slot for a customs job offer for me  and  if I was ready to cooperate, he would help me out. But once I saw how he was chatting, I discovered that he was a scammer. Sometimes our numbers are gotten from WhatsApp groups where people add us.

I no really like when straight chat me especially when they start talking about investment and how to earn money online, some of them fit hypnotized you and you wouldn't know what you are doing, the next is to start doing whatever they want and obeying their instructions, so that have to quickly block to avoid further grammar. If you are this Smart enough there is no way you could fall for this scam as I know say them no be original person rather want to scam you.
Let's think about; if what they are saying is original they wouldn't want to chat with you rather they would keep to themselves and call their brothers to do it so that they would be earning before even releasing it to outsiders.

And when it comes to clicking links we all just have to be very careful actually and this have been going on for some time now we just need to know the valuable ones to make use of because i don't see the reason why you will click on link that is not concerning you and most of these things aside anyone chatting you on privately you will see different links on group chat telling you to claim these and that and all man now in the first place the best thing is to avoid clicking and any form of me either coming from a private chat or from me group chat.

Our cell phones have vulnerable to attacks so this is supposed to be the number one rule when you have a cell phone avoid clicking on me that are not important and that are not valid at all. We need to be caution our self about this things. Be best as said is to report and block.
