I won use this opportunity say thank you to everybody way don help make the local board active. We for no fit achieve half the things we achieve this year without you! May 25	Nominate your posts to get some Merit	Before Theymos give us new merit sources, na 1mia been dey support our local with him merit thread. Many users rank up through this thread even though him no be Nigerian, 1mia still make sure say merit flow for our board. E show say the “1” for him represent 1 in a million.
June 8	Charles-Tim, Mia Chloe, SmartGold01 Officially a Merit Source.	After 4 years of having our local board, we finally got new merit sources approved to support Igebotz - Charles-Tim, Mia Chloe, SmartGold01 were the new merit sources for the Nigerian local board in 2025.
June 15	Shadiq's Interest-Free Loan Service for Nigerians Lv.1 💰	One of our own, Shadiq launch him loan for just us Nigerians. Na this one them dey call service for us and by us.
Aug 27	Whale.io । Bitcoin Fruit Carving & Decoration Contest - 2025	Shadiq in collabo with Whale.io na organize this bitcoin fruit carving contest for local board. The contest gain popularity among local board members and even outside the local board. The winners of this contest na joy_learns_crypto, CryptoHeadlineNews, and Rhow.
March 22	[Results 2024] Bitcointalk Community Awards 🏆	GazetaBitcoin and icopress announced the winners of the 2024 Bitcointalk Community Awards.
Aug 9	🔥 Report Spams and get Rewards	Igebotz cut rope follow spammers this year, this thread na where he offer merit rewards for top reporters. Some of the reporters way win the reward this year na Mia Chloe, obim34, and Satoprincess.
Sept 16	Nigeria ranks 6th in the Chainalysis 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index.	According to Chainalysis, Nigeria ranked 2nd place for crypto adoption for 2024. This year Nigeria don fall go 6th place for the ranking while India, US, Pakistan, Vietnam, and Brazil take the lead.

Oct 11	Bisq mobile for Android devices is out	Every day for forum we dey preach decentralization and the use of decentralized exchanges, one of the most popular ones na Bisq. So when them release their new mobile version for android users, the community see reason to discuss am.

Nov 9	Proposal for strict adherence to pidgin in the Naija local board	When we first apply to get our local board, we been get discussion on languages to use and majority settle for use of English and pigin. Overtime as the community dey grow, some members don dey voice out say them no like say English dey allowed for our local board as them dey feel say some outsiders dey claim to be Nigerians because them won farm merit or damage the reputation of the community.
Nov 15	Crypto exchanges urls are no more blacklisted	Crypto exchanges url no longer dey blacklisted for naija again.  Remember say since Nigerian government start to go after certain exchanges and place ban on p2p most of the exchanges url links been don dey blocked from Nigerian users. Unfortunately this change no last as them ban the urls again after a short while.
Dec 1	2025 Christmas Day Price prediction of Bitcoin	This contest na the first of him kind for our local board. Dr.Bitcoin_Strange host am to celebrate this year Christmas Day. E announce winners of the contest for Christmas Day - SatoPrincess (1st place and Hatchy (2nd place).
Dec 16	🎄 NAIJA BOARD 2025/2026 CHRISTMAS & NEW YEAR CONTEST🎄🎉🎇	Mia Chloe dey host the second edition of the Christmas & new year naija food contest, and this year theme make sense well well.

Well-done @SatoPrincess for the nice compilation of important topics of 2025, you do well. You for include the users wey create those threads as you do am for META too but anyhow sha e no mean anything. Among all the topics wey you listed above, the most memorable one na these new merit sources wey Theymos add for us. Before we been dey complain of merit sources but surprisingly, Theymos just hear our cry come approve 3 merit sources for us so na good step towards the development of the local board because since that time till now, some of dem dey try for merit distribution.

You have done a great job compiling the important topics for our local board in Nigeria in 2025. Our Local Board is going at a great pace as we can all see because there are various educational topics here that are enlightening everyone, new and old. By the way, you may have forgotten to add the Whale.io । Bitcoin Fruit Carving & Decoration Contest - 2025 , this was created by @Sadiq. Since you have already mentioned the contest that was organized on the occasion of Christmas, maybe this contest should also be mentioned, if I am not mistaken.

By the way, Nigeria was in the top two in terms of global crypto adoption in 2024, you added this topic. Similarly, there is a topic I created that is  Nigeria ranks 6th in the Chainalysis 2025 Global Crypto Adoption Index.

This is actually a brilliant idea you just came up with at O.P by compiling a list of activities which took place on our local board as it affects us particularly. Because to be frankly speaking, I'm just getting to know some key things which took place on the forum which I wasn't aware of, such as the "Report Spam and Get merit" thread published by igebot, I never knew such thread existed on the forum, including the tutorial about how to run a Bitcoin nude with our smartphone. I never knew such thread ever existed on this our local board, of which I will be giving it a try this weekend. However, I would have loved to suggest that if had it been you arranged this your recap in ascending order with respect by the month each thread was published, it would have looked far more professional. However, you did a good job for the wonderful 2025 recap.

I wasn’t aware of the topic also until I was compiling the events for the 2025 recap thread. I then realized why I received 10 merits from Igebotz recently. Wetin I don observe be say e dey easy to miss good topics here because of the way people dey drop new topics every week.

For sure he (Floxynice) really need to be included in the list because he has been so helpful to the community financially ,  moreover men like this are rarely seen this days and if any is available it's wise acknowledging them at least to make them feel better and appreciated for the good work they're doing.

Yes, it's true, the several threads been published each day by newbies and existing members might have made us missed important threads on the local board. So on that note, I once again want to thank you for compiling this wonderful recap of list of important activities which took place on the local board 2025. However, I just noticed you just arranged the activities just like I earlier suggested by adding the date & months in ascending order from January, February till December, which makes it look far more professional right now.
