Nigerians wake up on the 24 December to witness multiple bomb blast in the north region of the country,at first the president sent delegations to ascertain the extend of the damage and causalities and also ordered investigation should be carried out to fish out the perpetrators for possible action within the ambit of the law, only for the president of united states of America Donald Trump to claim responsibilities of the attacks which were targeted aimed to flush out armd bandits and terrorist that have been killing and kidnapping innocent civilians in the country.Donlad Trump has earlier this year warmed Nigeria authority to do more to protect civilians against the armd bandits or risks US military action.now the Nigeria government turn out claimed they aware and in collaboration with US military to carry out the attack
If Nigeria government was aware of the US military action why then did they send delegations at the first place or they are trying to cover up US military supremacy and the other hand there weak institution to protect there citizens and shame of being assisted externally?
Indeed what Donald Trump's did was extremely good because theirs nothing our government can do about it because they are afraid of them coming to attack them back I like what the government of US did ,let our government learn from this ,he went to another nation to fight when he has not finished or removed what is in his eyes he went to remove another person own , shame to him Mr President,I don't know if Donald Trump's can our change government all this killing and kidnapping will definitely stop, now that this has happened the government has strategies another way the bandit will use to excape they have join mosque and market just to be save and the government has been the one covering them so that they will not be killed,if not he would have go after those who ran to mosque and market to fish them out but yet no good news what politics.

U S military action in Nigeria is a welcome development to say, what the Nigerian government could not do for years they did it in one day don't that calls for celebration, look at other African countries that Nigeria is bigger than, how they have reduced there insecurity challenges yet that of Nigeria is escalating on daily basis, now just a single strike has reduced there strength and you don't want to accept its a perfect move for nigeria. I am even waiting to hear more because i strongly believe Dolnad Trump is preparing more for the bandits Disturbing at large

Insurgency is a global treath Nigeria government alone can not secure the lives of citizens under treath and killing,
Do you really believe that the Nigeria government can’t battle the insecurity happening in the country right now? I don’t think you are right, maybe you are not from Nigeria, but if you are in the country, then you will understand that the insecurity happening currently is just political, and the politicians are benefiting from it thats why they just ignoring it, corruption is just what’s kill Nigeria. I country that can send fighters jet to the neighboring country( Benin republic) just to suppress the coup attempt in the country, are you trying to tell me that the country doesn’t have the equipment to fight insecurity in his own country? Since the beginning of the insecurity in Nigeria, I haven’t heard that our military have used a fighters jet on bandits in the country, but they can send fighters jet to neighboring country. Trump has no interior motives helping Nigeria especially when a country is weak of security system and corruptions daft,
I can’t say Trump doesn’t have any motive for now, I don’t know the agreement has with our leaders, but I will say just a bomb blast isn’t enough to wipe out the bandits in this country, trump shouldn’t just come and drop a bomb and go.

My major interest when it comes to the US action in Nigeria is that I don't know how accurate the strike was that up to now, there has not been any clear records of any bandit or terrorist neutralised by the military action. The strikes were just a waste of time and energy and caused a public disturbance to no avail. The Nigerian military is capable to fight any banditry in Nigeria and more importantly, the home forces have full knowledge of the sponsors of these terrorists. This is how it has been and they have refused to expose them. Kidnapping and banditry is political here and they all know what they're doing. How will you talk about the fact that the leaders negotiate with bandits always and treat mere citizens protest as a criminal offence. We heard records of another bomb that was not exploded and the ones that blasted has nothing to show for it. Terrorism is global but this Trump's intervention is still not a success and until they make the MoU public for everyone to know, then it's yet another political propaganda too.

The level of success recorded in just one strike could be measured to 5 years of internal military 🎖️🪖 efforts from the Nigeria army, this is one of the highest military collaboration that Nigeria have received so far since the insurgency started, we can see the results and how the airstrike is helping the Nigeria land army to close in on the terrorist groups, this is a massive win for all the Nigerian and the president is seeking collaboration from other countries not just the United States.

Now the camp of the insurgent had been scattered, they are confused and no where to be found, they will definitely get scared of a massive gather that could aid them in launching big attacks, they are being suppressed, some are claiming that they target no one as casualty, just hit the ground and no one was affected, whereas, this wasn't the actual situation, US cannot waste its resource on nothing, they were badly hit and uncountable numbers have been dead without trace.

It's a dog and pony show. What happened was that the pedophile POTUS carried out a terrorist attack against a sovereign nation, most probably killing innocent civilians like they always do, like they just did in Syria this week killing 5 villagers calling them ISIS while we know the attack they used as their excuse was carried out by their own dog, al-Jolani! The US regime always claims "they are fighting terrorists" like Daesh. But we already know based on evidence and their own confessions (like how United States Director of National Intelligence, Tulsi Gabbard confessed to be supporting al-Qaeda) the US regime created these takfiri terrorist groups (Da'esh, al-Qaeda, Boko Haram, ...) and has been intensely using them against the civilized world for more than 2 decades now. The most obvious one is of course al-Qaeda which we all watched in disgust and some with disbelief how the pedophile POTUS received the head of this terrorist group in the White House. Nigerians need to protect their great nation against this rogue regime and its terrorist proxies. In my opinion such attacks must not go unpunished. USA has carried out strikes in Nigeria with assistance of Nigerian authorities that means they both are on same page. If we look into history then Al-Qaeda chief Osama Bin Ladin was an ally of USA in war against Soviet Russia from 1979 to 1989. Later he was declared a threat to global peace and killed by USA in 2011. Not only OBL but Afghan fighters (most of which turned to Taliban) received weapons and money from USA in their fight against Russia. Gulbuddin Hekmatyar was also fine for USA and west as long as he was serving their purpose in Afghanistan but in 2003 declared as Specially Designated Global Terrorist after his services were no more required.

Well, it is obvious that Trump is going to continue to strike them and escalate all this situation, the United States does not get into a conflict only to strike once and disappear, then are obviously going to continue to attack those terrorists and bandits, the true question is what the response of the Nigerian government will be after getting is seemly unwanted help from the United States. I guess they will say they welcome it, in order not to be viewed bad by their own people.

They're not aware of anything, I doubt the US would even let them know that they wanted to orchestrate that attack else they would've leaked the confidential information to the terrorists and they escrow the attack. The US already cited that information regressed to the Nigerian authorities earlier was compromised, so they don't readily share such info with Nigeria government. The incident actually happened on Christmas Day and not a day before Christmas. It's a welcome development since it's obvious the Nigerian government isn't ready to do anything about the insecurity of the country.

I guess they will say they welcome it, in order not to be viewed bad by their own people. And I even believe that the United States has a much larger purpose behind it, not simply to quell terrorism and robbery in Nigeria as they claim. The United States has never helped any country without asking for something in return, nor has it ever done anything purely out of goodwill. Behind every intervention lies a strategy, such as increasing political influence, controlling the region, or controlling resources. I don't know exactly what's going on in Nigeria because I believe politics is beyond the comprehension of all of us. But I know one thing, Nigeria is a resource rich country. They are the largest producer of oil in Africa, and other mineral resources. They are considered important geopolitical crossroads in the region. I don't think this is just a coincidence. It would be naive to believe that all of America's actions are solely focused on counter-terrorism or maintaining regional order.

Thank god i have seen someone that believes the strike has great impact on the terrorist. Over the year the Nigerian soldiers have been fighting without rest to put an end to terrorism in Nigeria but all to no avail, not that they don't have what it takes to inflict pain on the terrorist but because of political involvement of our so called leaders, that was why there efforts where not noticeable on them compared to the effects of this just one US strike. Assuming the Nigerian military where fully aware of this attack, it won't have been possible because the same way they give information to them about the Nigerian military attack same also they would have done on this attack.

There is certainly a difference between what President Trump said and what the Nigerian government said. But the main point is that if the Nigerian government had worked together or campaigned instead of attacking an independent country in this way to combat terrorism, then perhaps the country's image would not have been damaged. Action should definitely be taken to eradicate terrorism. But it needs to be done in collaboration with the government. If the government cannot do it properly, then they can ask for help or advice. And if the government also does not pay attention to this issue, then a decision can be taken. Sometimes there are secret attacks to kill terrorists, but the real truth is not really revealed to the public.

The Government of the federal Republic of Nigeria act in collaboration with the US to carry out the airstrike, infact the Nigeria Army where the head control of the action, some week's ago there was already an ongoing military operations in that region, locals have testify the positive impact of this strike, lately Nigeria security have been under threat from the ISIS boko haram and their designated bandits kidnappers, so alot of military collaboration is needed to flush out group in one of the strongest enclave along the Nigeria borders with other African countries.

Some sources presented wrong data about the number of people said to be dead, some sources have also said, no casualties have been witnessed or found dead. Most interesting news was that the village nuked is a village ( in sokoto, Nigeria ) filled with farmers and have never had nothing to do with ISIS and ISWAP since 2018. I can recall they created Boko Haram ( in the northern part of Nigeria ) to undermine the government of Goodluck Ebele Jonathan and couple other reasons after he refused to sign documents that had to do with Gay marriages and same sex marriages in Nigeria. The then president tried to buy arms from the US government to curb and combat terrorism to an extent but his all of his efforts, rebuffed completely by Barrack Obama's government. To cut the long story short, I don't think the bombing had to do with ISIS and ISWAP and saving Nigerian Christians, it was all about dominance and taking back control of the areas in the Sahel regions they had controlled before being kicked out by the AES. If you look at the map above, you'd see they bombed Sokoto close to Niger ( The US previously had US base in Niger ) as a warning or something but then again, the Sahel regions are fully preparing for whatever chaos shoved their way. Captain Ibrahim Traore has previously warned about it coming and they'll be up to face it. It is just sad to see that, the president of Nigerian is not just a bastard but also a puppet who aids imperialistic empire to suffocate and make Africa unsafe for his fellow Africans. A proper crackhead!! And Nigerians?! They can be very dumb at times and the same time strong. They need to stop seeing people who suffocate and choke their economy as saviors. They're not even doing enough to decolonising their mindsets to see the bigger picture about their saviours and oppressors.

I don't have much to say over this issue but will blame our leaders because the saying that the rate at home invited external that courses destruction of it's home is the real scenario of what is happening today in Nigeria. If our leaders has follow this rightly external body will not intrude even if they have such intentions it would have been carried out diplomatically not boycotting due protocol. The challenge in most of leaders we consider everything to be politics mostly when the advise is coming from opposition and render the it valueless,if the government had follow many advice to combat this issue probably the killing and kidnapping would have crackdown by bringing many perpetrator to book but given then amnesty.

It was expected. We in West Asia know this better than anybody else since we've been fighting the ISIS-US coalition ever since 2010-2011. The air support US military provided ISIS is a well known fact. The US regime is the creator and main supporter of all these Takfiri groups including ISIS and Boko Haram and 90% of the strikes they claim is targeting terrorists is either targeting civilians or targeting those who fight terrorist groups. The remaining 10% that actually hits and kills terrorists is hitting what they call "rogue agent", that is terrorists that didn't want to be a member of such organizations any longer and weren't taking orders well enough. The lack of casualties is expected as well when Tomahawk cruise missiles were used which are the most useless CMs in existence and 3 out of 4 failed midway and dropped on people's houses midway without detonating. That's 75% missile failure and 100% mission failure.

Donald Trump is a man of his words, there's no way he would relent and allow the insecurities in Nigeria to go on. This is not helping matters and Donald Trump steps in. The main problem the United States is having with Nigeria is the crucial inefficient insecurities that involves the massive massacre of Christians especially pointing to the northern part of Nigeria.

The Nigerian government have failed woefully in rendering their duties to its citizens. First they failed to protect their citizens from internal attacks caused by internal terrorists for years, now they have also failed to prevent an external attack from the US army. Those who control the government of the country should bury their faces in shame because they have failed themselves, the citizens who trust them and the world at large.

I don’t see any benefit as to the strikes that were fired into the shores of Nigeria In sokoto state. At first I want to say that Sokoto shouldn’t have been the primary target if they felt they have to intervene then they should have targeted places like Borno which has been ravaged by terrors over the last two decades, why then wasting such resources to strike a barren land in the name of hunting down terrorists

After the booming incident from the US the government claimed to be in collaboration with the US but I doubt it because Trump have sent a warning across telling the Nigerian government to do something about the insecurities and killing of innocent Christians in Nigeria but the government did nothing about it and not even a proper message from the government was made by the government to the citizens of Nigeria. The Nigerian government is corrupt and they careless about the citizens and I believe that some of the politicians are behind and even sponsoring these notorious bandits for their own selfish gains.
