We do know that demo gambling is just that good for testing out the game but deep inside on which the thrill and excitement isnt there, why? because we cant make money that we can be able to withdraw and this is why most gamblers will definitely be making up some deposit. If your goal is just to have fun then you can enjoy demo as well but fun is not the main goal of the gambler. Money also plays a big role there. In gambling there is no real knowledge that can make you win, so if you are someone who is not blessed enough to have more wins and can't afford the loss then quitting is the wise choice. The answer is actually that those persons who are basically addicted to gambling and who do not gamble responsibly. As you’ve said, it all depends on the mindset, when a person have removed his mindset from having fun with betting into making it as a source of income, that’s where the problem lies, then you are looking for all possibilities to maximize your with profit, then you become desperate to win and greed comes in, you start staking more frequently and taking irrational decisions while betting. At that point you’ve lack control over yourself and you don’t know when to quit anymore until your funds is used up. I’ll suggest such a person take  a while off betting  or go to vacation with no internet connection if the person is addicted to betting and has bad luck while betting.
