Do you think people with hard luck quit gambling?

Most people do not quit gambling because of bad luck. Instead they believe that even if they lose now they will surely win next time. This hope keeps them gambling again and again. Many times even after losing a lot of money a person thinks that one more try will recover everything. However there are some people who lose many times and then understand that gambling is not for them and slowly step away. But in reality the more a person loses the harder it becomes to quit. So bad luck often does not stop people it pushes them to take even more risks.

Yes! Most of the gamblers with hard luck quit gambling, it happens to me most times when I had series of almost win. Then I will just decide to quick I used to have this feeling that maybe my luck is not around, so for this reason what I do is to take a break for some couple of weeks sometimes days before going again. I have seen few gamblers that keep having almost win yet they don't think about stopping knowing fully well that thier luck is not around, instead they believe that if they keep trying that they might be lucky to loss that chain that is holding thier luck.

We do have our own will on how we do handle things accordingly on which it would be that too impossible that you cant be able to determine on whats good and whats bad. There are just that those times that we cant be able to think up well just because our minds is been affected out by our emotions on which it would be causing up for us to have that kind of hard decision making even though or mind is fully wary on whats happening. Gambling is surely just that for fun and entertainment but there are those individuals who do go into the other side of things on which they do believe that gambling is something that they can be able to find themselves making money. Of course you would be blinded with your own greed and if you arent that mindful towards your actions then you are that bound to have that disaster later on.

Never ever make yourself that thinking that you can be able to take advantage or able to control luck because it cant be just that possible on this way. There are just that those times that we are that blinded into the things along the way but actually its not that possible.

I don't know about technical knowledge  but sporting knowledge on the other hand will certainly give a player an advantage and I have seen this with several pools I play in be it fantasy football or general sports competitions, knowledge of the game does give the player the edge!

No matter how some individuals are exposed to gambling they don't still have the technical knowledge on how to maximize their winnings, they incurred losses more than profit. This categories of people have no gambling philosophy. Am aware of the fact that gambling is a game of luck but this specific people seem to be out of luck or under going hard luck each time they indulge in gambling.
do you suggest with me that such people should completely quit from gambling to prevent future losses that will suddenly turned them into addiction or you prefer them keep trying after all failure isn't fatal.

Well, I don't know how much one would try to say it's hard luck; firstly, the person must have tried every means and it's not working out for him, or played other people's games and tried different types of casino games, slots, and just to mention a few; secondly, I doubt someone would not win at all, except he's not doing something right or being consistent. If it's not working for you, just find one team and be staking on their head each time they have a match to play, and then let's see how you are not going to win. I find out that people just indulge in gambling without skill or putting in some effort to improve things a bit. I don't mean that gambling is totally profitable for many, but if you see someone who has not won before, either they are not being consistent or haven't tried out  other methods.

Of course we cannot control luck, it is uncertain whether luck will be on our side or not, the whole thing about luck depends on uncertainty, so expecting something from it can only lead to losses. We have to be careful in places based on luck, we have to use only the money that we can lose without any difficulty or any obstacle. Since it depends on luck, we have to first accept that we will definitely lose here, if we can first accept this loss with certainty, then the chances of us making wrong decisions here later will be much less. Edge is different and I agree that one with the knowledge will likely to pick the favorable games with better odds but what I am saying is it doesn't make anyone win even in the pool there will be someone who did more analysis, who watched more games yet their lost to you right? That is what I am saying knowledge doesn't play much role with 100% win factor.

I am reminded of a friend from my circle who often drinks coffee with me. He does exactly as you say, thinking there will be a win in the next round, trying and trying again, losing thousands of dollars in one night is not surprising. To be honest i don't even know where he got so much money for his deposit. All i know is that he had some loans from friends and relatives, but whenever we met and gambled, he always had the capital. It sounds funny, but he had a little toy that he considered his lucky charm, but in reality instead of winning, he kept losing.
