It's just a coincidence because if his wife was happy and she toke the juice her husband wouldn't have bought the lottery ticket that he won, maybe someone else would have bought it and won the price. I do not think the man even bother to know why his wife rejected the $5 juice, because if he had spend time talking to his wife to know why she rejected the juice maybe another buyer would have bought that same lucky lottery ticket and won the price it it would have been in the store till now. I'm very happy for the gambler because his wife made him win the lottery ticket, $315 million dollar is not a chicken change. Even though his wife was upset when she rejects the $5 juice now she will be very happy.

Since the information behind the man and his wife on the lottery did not contain any of these your worries or informations, I think the couple will be best to answer those questions because you were not there when the incident happened instead, we can only end up exaggerating without being authenticated.

According to the thread title, it is a coincidence just as said and both the husband and wifes energy was a matched to the success because if she had not rejected the juice, the husband would not had got the thought of picking the ticket in the first place and if the husband did not pick the ticket, there would not had been a winning entry for the couple or husband himself.

It is unrealistic to think that those events were merely a luck-based coincidence, so instead you assign a spiritual significance to something that doesnt have a spiritual significance in reality, thereby making it more complex than necessary.

For every "mysterious" win, there are probably a million losing tickets.  You never hear about them because "Man returns juice and loses $5" isnt a story.

If it's not a coincidence, then what do you think it is?.
Of course, I know the direction you're pointing to,  and I think there is a branch of science that actually talks about that phenomenon, i.e, how certain things occur that are a bit above human comprehension. Well, I prefer to believe that it's just a random coincidence. Such luck probably happens to one in a million or hundreds of million people across the world.

The chances of you hearing about this again is likely not even possible, so I think is just something random. Who knows, you might even get a different luck that you've never thought of before now. Crazy things do happen.

I spent $100 on lottery tickets, which were intended for my birthday, and sad to say, I lost them all.

In the case of what OP had said…it was not his wife who made it a reason for his winning. He was just too lucky that time. Of course, I couldn't stop that kind of reasoning, but it's still not acceptable in gambling. You can't imagine winning like that because of this and this…It never exists in reality because our luck only makes it.

You mean he is that broke that he cannot afford $5? Not until he refunded the juice he was able to see $5 to gamble with? This story isn't adding up. However it is, I am sure that if he had lost his bet, we won't be blaming his wife for the loss of the money, but he himself. Now that he won, we all should agree that his wife had nothing to do with it, it was just a coincidence that it happened same day. If he is a really gambler, he would have still gambled that day with or without the $5 refund. That day was just his lucky day.

Taking this spiritual for me may not necessarily be the case rather I see it as one of the lucky days for them, the universe has probably aligned the day for them and so would make almost every activities work in that direction to achieving that particular bid, if it is the universe alignment for them, it will be possible that he will still get that done somehow even without the juice coming I to the picture, when once it is your day, everything will work together for you such that even the slightest irrelevant thing will lead to fulfilling that favour that is due you.

I can still recall my logic lessons. There's a fallacy called post hoc ergo propter hoc. In English, that's 'after this, therefore because of this'. I think this applies to the case here. The events leading to the man's winning the lottery aren't the causes of him winning the lottery. They have nothing to do whatsoever with the result of the lottery. Furthermore, that the man bought a lottery ticket isn't caused by his wife rejecting the juice. The same applies to the rest of the story. They're merely coincidental.
