Happy new year in advance but I don’t have to align with the idea that we have to suffer all these commitments solely for our children to enjoy when we are no more on earth. Don’t get me wrong, I’m not trying to say that we shouldn’t save or try to gather for our children but we should rather change the narrative while saving because you might be saving for children who might just end up squandering everything you labored for, so from my perspective, the major reason for savings and investing, is to make our retirement period an easy one and not prioritizing saving for children to have it when we’re gone.

I’ve seen several threads about what happens to our coins when we’re no more and I haven’t found a perfect solution and according to bitcoin and how it was built for privacy meaning no one but us is supposed to be in charge of our coin, what then happens to those coins when your children or family can’t access then when you’re gone?

The biggest mistake people often make is having the mindset that Bitcoin investment is a get rich quick scheme, and this is what pushes them into making certain decisions that will most likely jeopardize the future and success of their investments. No. I disagree with you on what you just said above about there not been any assurance of getting rich with Bitcoin, because I can only agree with you if you emphasize on the timeframe by which Bitcoin can make an individual get rich. Because though it's true that a person who invest a dollar in Bitcoin today might not become a millionaire in next 5 to 10yrs,  but a person who invest at least $1000 to $10,000 in Bitcoin and hold it for the next 20 to 40yrs is likely to become a millionaire. So depending on how long, you can just buy Bitcoin and hold it long term for your children or grandchildren.

The problem is how many of us investors are ready to hold our coins over several decades or in 1 decade. There is every guarantee of making profits investing in Bitcoin, but there is no assurance that investors will break bank through Bitcoin. It is good to see Bitcoin in a way it would generate reasonable profits, but I wouldn't consider it to be what should be a must to turn over gains that will make me wealthy, Bitcoin is one among other assets we can invest in to make money.

If you don’t have endurance to hold your accumulation for a long term then I don’t think you’ll be able to endure when the market is on a bearish trend, it’ll lead you to gamble with your portfolio and if it turns out that is the case, you’re not an investor but a trader.
Maybe you’ll be thinking that the $20 - $50 worth of BTC you’ve accumulated isn’t going to make you rich in the next 8-10 years, yeah you’re absolutely right, but if you use DCA method to accumulate and you’re disciplined with your DCAing for over 8-10 years, despite the uncertainty of the market, you still have a chance of enjoying your old Age.
