I don't think that's true at all.

First, the Bitcoin knowledge rabbit hole goes so deep that most of us will never truly understand how it works at the basest levels, because we don't care enough to spend that much time on it. I'm learning new things about Bitcoin all the time, sometimes through my own trial and error in interacting with the network. There is always something to learn about Bitcoin that you didn't know before.

Second, there's a lot of new and interesting things happening around Bitcoin all the time, its just that it requires more than a surface-level attempt to uncover what they are. Again, most people don't want to put the time into the digging, and that is because they seem this forum more as a job than an opportunity to educate oneself.

Quantum FUD created an environment for some discussion for a while but it seems it died off too. I don't see anybody talking about it anymore... We used to talk about Lightning Network, Segwit, Big blocks, smol bollocks, fake satoshi (missing in action btw)...

All of these topics are resolved. (maybe except for the quantum fud, not sure)

And you know what?

That might actually be a good thing.

It shows that bitcoin is matured.

It shows, bitcoin network is somewhat similar to the torrent network.

It is doing its job and that's it.

This is going a little off-topic, but not entirely, since it stems from the previous conversation. In my case, of the many things I see that could be discussed, the most recent has been the failed BIP 110 proposal, which ended in a hard fork. There is a thread on the forum that I have been reading without commenting, and also gathering information from outside the forum.

This is the most recent, so, yeah, I think there is still a lot of things to discuss about bitcoin.

Can we go back to the person in question who is the focus of this thread's discussion?

Any suggestions about who his previous accounts might have been are appreciated.

Even without signature incentives, not everybody would be interested in, 'digging'. As PrivacyG (what does, 'G' stands for, I reckon, 'Good'?) said, you don't need to know know-all to drive a car, the surface level knowledge is enough to make use of a thing, and that's enough. It's folly to expect more or worse to judge others since people have different priorities, different passions; life is short anyhow and time and energy is not enough to spread it everywhere.

I don't think any campaign manager would take him again in the future. This was long overdue feedback. Digaran was better compared to this spammer. At least that guy spent some time writing things.

You should research what you say. Campaign I was in, stopped altogether. As for my profile's personal text 'now says' — campaign I was in didn't require personal text to begin with, and I have been having same personal text since good time.

icopress has left me a neutral and he was not my CM. And if you'd read it's text, it has to do with my 'burst posting period ' I had in meta a while back and 'necro bumping' — I disagree with the latter accusation since to my memory it was second necro topic bump (CMIIW) in my about decade on the forum and I bumped the topic (the prestige system one) because I meant it.

I see an interesting hypothesis here. My first memory of Dogedegen is that he used to post idiotic comments in the threads about Saylor and Strategy (which is pretty common on the forum, by the way). So I got the impression that he was an idiot, but then I saw him in technical threads having discussions that showed a deep understanding of the subject—something he has in common with Satofan44.

If the experiment was an attempt to monetize two accounts with two different writing styles, it’s clear that it backfired, because Satofan44’s account has a tough time of it.

Really, you want to put me down in the same room with some pajeet enrolled in a scammer's campaign?   What am I looking for next, you might claim that I am Fivestar4everPajeet too?

Both are commenting on the same live threads in the same week (the AI-jobs thread, the hard-fork/replay-protection thread, the Metaplanet BTC-selling thread, the 21 Capital hashrate thread), often just hours apart — which is a strong behavioral overlap, though not by itself proof of common ownership since these are simply the forum's most active threads that week.

I have not participated in any of these threads if they are from Bitcoin Discussion, this is a hallucination. At least check the basics and make the accusations a bit more entertaining, I'd like to look at the puzzle. I did however chuckle when someone was pretty close, especially since some of the users here talk to me on a relatively regular basis.

Interesting thing about Dogedegen, he has a lot of posts in the Nigerian section, yet he was acting like a proud American patriot in some other posts.

If I had read this entire post where these quotes were taken from without knowing who the author was, my immediate instinct would have been to believe it was written by Satofan and I think so would 99% of the rest of the forum who has any familiarity with his writing.

The only thing that matters if whether Americans want more migrants or not? The clear answer is NO. If your countries were any better you would not be trying to come here. So how can anyone from any country that is worse try lecturing the USA about anything?

Would you mind letting us know why you have barely been making a couple of posts per day and also having gaps in between after getting removed from the signature campaign by the manager?
