Depends I suppose, how long is eternity? Shouldn't that be about… 10000 years? isn't eternity infinite or unending time ? Yeah but like, isn't 10000 years reaaaaaally long? It's all depends on what scale you are, 10000 is long in the human life scale, but on the universe scale 10000 years is not even a second of our life so which is it? How long is your life? |

Each block is stacked on top of the previous one. Adding another block to the top makes all lower blocks more difficult to remove: there is more "weight" above each block. A transaction in a block 6 blocks deep (6 confirmations) will be very difficult to remove.
