Bitcoin speculation thread for 2026

Bitcoin's open price has increased from $87,650 to $93,705, signaling a new bull market for the new year. I don't think it's necessary to worry about what influential and well-known people in the world are saying. However, I am positive and optimistic that the price will increase in the new year and new ATS will be touched. If this year is the year of the supercycle, then my prediction is that it won't take long for the price of Bitcoin to reach $200,000. We are already seeing signs of a green market -

Yeah, despite all the uncertainty that still exists in the bitcoin market (people being too scared to enter the market) we still have a lot of positive signs as well. Even the fact that price could not go that far below $90k is a great positive sign showing that there was not enough sellers to push the price down last year. And of course this year we are already seeing the small rises begin.

Maybe there are sellers, but it's not enough to offset the buyers as the latter still thinks that the market will still go bullish or at least go to $100k. So that price will be the barrier that if we ever get to it, then majority will think that we are going into another set of bull run for this year.

So there could be fear amongst us, but majority is still very optimistic that despite the geo-politics and the military action of the US to Venezuela and other nations, crypto enthusiast are still very positive at the start of this year.

I just dont see Bitcoin droping its market price since we already see there are a huge resistance in the price around 80k-90k$, it would be a huge surprise if Bitcoin even go back to around 50k$ even though it was only around a few months when Bitcoin market price was at that price range.

For Bitcoin to have such a free fall and only stop at $80k, then I'm confident we won't have a bad year. As I have said in my other posts, except for something big happening that affects the price of Bitcoin negatively, it will not go as low as $50k.
I believe this year will not be a bad year for Bitcoin. It will not necessarily be a good year, but it won't be a bad year. I believe we will see dips at some point, and like every normal year, we will see it rise again, too. There is also a potential for a new ATH, but I don't think it will be significantly higher than the current ATH.
Ultimately, I think this will be a moderate year for Bitcoin. I won't be surprised if it gets to a point where $100k is the resistance, like we saw last year.

Some last year's population many people emphasize that the price of Bitcoin will not appreciate in 2026 but I don't believe that such speculation will you come to reality but the thing is that what that will make the price of Bitcoin to increase will it be determined from the investors right now we have seen that is such speculation of different persons last year is not really showing the way they said it, I know that it is too early to know if bitcoin will it fall or the Bitcoin will continue to rise because what I'm seeing in Bitcoin price is different thing and the price of Bitcoin have increased a little immediately we entered 2026 so I don't know if the price will keep on increasing or it will later run decreases.

No matter how much we research, no matter how much we speculate, Bitcoin is ultimately unpredictable, we can never say for sure how it will move forward. 2026 has just begun, Bitcoin will not show us any surprising movements right now, there is no alternative to patience, the only way we have to stay stable with Bitcoin is through patience, when Bitcoin needs to rise, it will rise very well.

The 2025 and 2026 years would be most foundational years in Bitcoin and cryptocurrency industry and its market with unbelievable legal adoption growth which laids solid future for this industry.

Unfortunately, with geopolitical problems, wars, economic recessions globally this market has been affected and pulled back negatively than its potential to thrive much better.

The legal adoption growth, development growth and the market growth of Bitcoin and cryptocurrency are not too strong positive correlated and I think since 2025 and coming years, it will move similar to what happened with stocks market and the dotcom bubble. It will possibly needs some more years for price to move reasonably with adoption and development growths.

The price of bitcoin will continue to go up even though it goes down at some points so there’s no need to panic because what ever be the outcome just know it’s the behavior pattern of bitcoin. So far, bitcoin performance have really started off well at the beginning of this year and it’s a good feeling, anyone who buys now especially in this very market price will surely be in a better position before the second quarter and of the year. There’s so much positivity in this early part of the year.
