Hello, bitcoiners! It's 2026, and we almost welcomed it in a better way. The year 2025 was so good for Bitcoin, giving an ATH of $126k.

Bitcoin record the highest ATH in 2025, later falls to 87k right now, so that's why we continue to complain that nobody knows what Bitcoin price can yield tomorrow or next, so believe that if there's life Bitcoin price will continue to rise.

And guess what? People still think Bitcoin is worthless, as if they are in such a deep sleep that they can't see how institutions, big companies, and states are pouring billions into Bitcoin.

initially Bitcoin is been devalued from people who doesn't know the important of Bitcoin, but today many more people is investing in bitcoin, Bitcoin was worthless when it was created and introduced but as of today, Bitcoin are not longer worthless.

Do you guys have any stories about friends, relatives, or family members who did not believe in Bitcoin in 2011 or afterward, claiming it was a scam, and now regret their decision not to buy it at that time?

 Yes, I had such story but up till now some families is still having doubts of bitcoin, including in this forum, many who are here in this platform, wasn't supporting Bitcoin existence until they made research of Bitcoin and understand the potentials in bitcoin and they began to like Bitcoin....I promised you that in future the family that disregards Bitcoin will surely accept Bitcoin.

I know 1 or 2 stories about people who think Bitcoin is a scam, but I don't really care about them, whether they regret it why they didn't invest their money sooner or not, I don't really care about their stories, because honestly there are a lot of people like that, and it's just a waste of my time to care about them. if they think Bitcoin is a scam, so be it, if they have changed their minds and think Bitcoin is a real asset, then that's very good, in the end it's their journey, not mine, what matters for me is staying focused on my investment, and continuing to stack consistently when I can, and holding, that's what's more important.

There's certainly a lot of people that even publicized their hatred and negativity towards bitcoin before, but now they feel ashamed to admit it so they just invest in bitcoin secretly, this time allowing the people to believe that they won't never enter bitcoin investment because they are non-believers in the first place.

But who can really tell if that same person is still a bitcoin pessimist throughout this time? None of us actually, and that gives them a hint that its okay to hate bitcoin first and like it after, like its the most valuable investment of all time.

My point is, people will change their point of views if they have totally understood what is bitcoin all about, and how will majority benefit from it.

We all got that one friend who threw away a hard drive or said it was a ponzi scheme in 2010, now they're like "i knew it was a thing!" Sure you did, buddy.
The funniest is watchin the "experts" on tv who used to laugh at it now scramble to explain why its goin to a million. The price went up, but the haters are still on the same script. 😂

This does not surprise me at all since despite fact that Bitcoin has grown much, there are still much of individuals who judge it according to old fears or negative news of past. I have seen friends who would laugh at Bitcoin and call it fake money, but now they remain silent or only mention that they should have bought it few years ago.
I think that individuals are not ready to believe in it not because they are not intelligent, but because Bitcoin is massive change that makes them feel uncomfortable about way money works. There are individuals who would other not be wrong than taking chance on something new. Fact is that number of people who use Bitcoin is growing on daily basis, and it does not require everyone to support it to become successful. History tells us that new technology continues to move forward regardless of whether critics will change their minds or not and that, in case one really believes that Bitcoin is worth nothing, he should not mind giving it away free.

You and I must be in different worlds. $126K ATH is a garbage year compared to previous performance, so much that we can no longer conceive the cycles as we thought of them up to this point. It's not even a 2X return from the previous cycle ATH. In addition, it was the first post-halving year that Bitcoin ended with a negative return.

More specifically, Bitcoin only increased by about 82% during this cycle, and compared to previous cycles, this is one of the worst growth cycles. Similarly, historically, 2025 was projected to be a year of strong growth, similar to 2017 and 2021. However, ironically, it ended with a negative growth rate of 6.33%.
I also find it confusing that many people say 2025 will be a great year.

There are many, and most of them came from my own family. But it didn’t happen in 2011—it happened in 2017, when my economy and finances started to rise after entering the cryptocurrency market. They accused me of working as a hacker who could be prosecuted, selling illegal goods, and made various bad accusations against me.

But instead, my finances increased, which made them curious and want to learn from me. One of the people I taught managed to gain 100% profit from Stellar at that time. Now, I no longer tell them where I go, and I have never met them again.

From my experience this kind of people will not accept the reality that bitcoin is a real deal and become angry out of it because they missed the biggest opportunity in a lifetime.
I just can't see these kind of people regretting their decision and blaming themselves because their ego is too high. What I can see is that they will just refuse to acknowledge the fact.

The same way successful investor like warren buffet refuse to buy tech stock back in the days.

People think Bitcoin is worth nothing because they do not even know what Bitcoin is other than 'virtual'.  You have to actually be interested in the subject if you want to know about it and this is why in my opinion, their disbelief does not matter.

I like when people dislike Bitcoin with actual arguments.  Not out dated 'Bitcoin is a Ponzi' thrown as an argument in 2026.

'Bitcoin is Ponzi' is a rather mild outdated argument but I've encountered argument where they said that bitcoin is not exchangable and whatever money goes in will not go out and they think that's the sole reason why bitcoin keep climbing up.

Are there still people who thinks that Bitcoin is worthless aside from Peter Schiff? I can't remember of anybody who's rampant online on protesting Bitcoin or saying negative things about it. It's not like 2017 or 2018 already where we can hear criticisms on Bitcoin coming from those popular and powerful people like Trump, Dimon, Buffett and many more.

Speaking of those powerful people, these 3 are the people that comes to my mind when it comes to people who have negative way of looking at Bitcoin, but later changed it. Trump and Dimon said negative things about Bitcoin in the past, but now they converted, and it's the exact opposite already. Buffett on the other hand though is the one that I don't know his stance about Bitcoin. One person also that criticized Bitcoin in the past is Larry Fink, but look at where he is right now. It's like they ate their own words.

I can't share any friend, relative or family member that had a negative way of thinking about Bitcoin but later changed because I'm the only one who's into Bitcoin in our family.

I don't consider 2025 a good year for Bitcoin, although it did make a new ATH but the break out was not sustainable, from the starting price to the ending price of Bitcoin in 2025, the market was just consolidation at a large range, and it did not pass 50% of the 2025 high and low, which of cause is not impressive in my point of view.

Nevertheless we wait to see how the coin will perform this new year, but with what is going on economically a good performance in Bitcoin this year is doubtable

I think many will eliminate that negative attitude toward bitcoin this new year because they have seen enough positive results that will make them to invest in bitcoin,  you can't force everybody to invest in bitcoin this 2026 because I know some will still regret for not investing in bitcoin when the price decrease until the price increases all time high to boost investors income, those that know how bitcoin work in the bearish and bullish season, they will not fail in any bearish season to accumulate bitcoin because is a good season to accumulate bitcoin and hold for future, what people need to see before they will invest in bitcoin they have seen it already which it will move many people to invest in bitcoin because next bullish season will lead bitcoin price to touch $200k.

Obviously, it's true for anybody who heard and knew about Bitcoin far back in 2011 when it's price was still around $500 to $1000 and failed to invest in it due to ignorance, thinking it was a scam and only to compare how far it's price has skyrocketed today to not regret ever making such action. Because I one think I have come to understand is that people keep regretting to r a decision they failed to do rather than striving to make a correction so that they don't make such regret later again in the future, just like in the case of Bitcoin. Whereby the best way to remedy a regret in Bitcoin is to just buy and invest in it, while aiming to hold it long term,  because the same people regretting failing to invest in Bitcoin back then in 2011, are the same people that will also regret failing to invest in Bitcoin this year 2026 when w reach 2035.

Bitcoin was not always in profit but over long term it has given strong profit. It is not controlled by any third party which is one of main reason people invest in it with more confidence. People who invest at corrct time earn more profit. Even today, many long term holder prefer not to sell their Bitcoin because they believe in its future value.

Bitcoin is considered a top class investment but only for those who understand market and its risk. So many people in family now regret that they did not put their money in btc when its price was around $300 even though they had lot of money. At that time, they thought such online investment was unsafe and that it might be fraud. People should learn more about online and digital finance field because knowledge reduce risk. If person has understanding and think long term btc can be valuable and profitable investment. Bitcoin was traded at very low price in its early day and since then we have seen many fluctuation in market including both rises and falls.

People may have different ideas about Bitcoin. But those who know about Bitcoin they believe in Bitcoin. And those who have doubts do not want to believe even after seeing the evidence. There are many who did not believe in 2018 after missing it in 2011. They thought that Bitcoin would fall again. But when it rose again in 2020, their psychological aspect did not improve. But when Bitcoin went beyond their buying range after 2021, they could not hold back their regrets. There are some people who, despite getting the opportunity again and again, could not use it. Some of the people I met who regretted it, invested in Bitcoin even though it was late. However, when they remember the past, they cannot hold on to that regret. Those who do not plan to hold Bitcoin even after learning about Bitcoin at this time will also have to regret it in the future.

Yeah and i like to believe that it is totally fine to change your point of view in things and BTC is one of them. There are a lot of people who are big on BTC right now who called it a bubble at the start. Michael Saylor called BTC a scam many years ago, but look at how many BTC's strategy has bought, with much more to come.

There are so many people like Saylor out there and for those like him who still think it is too late to get in, they should be smart enough to know by now that there is no late time to buy BTC.
