Great news for everyone following this project.

MODERATOR APPROVAL RECEIVED

We reached out to @Welsh from the moderation team about the future of this thread.

As you know, LUMENYX has evolved significantly since the first post. What started as a PoS chain with ZK-SNARKs mandatory privacy has become something completely different - thanks to YOUR feedback:

- PoS → Pure Proof of Work
- ZK-SNARKs mandatory → Privacy optional
- Blake3 → RX-LX (custom ASIC-resistant)
- Bootstrap phases → Fair emission from block #0

The current title "ZK-SNARKs Privacy" no longer reflects what LUMENYX truly is.

WHAT HAPPENS NEXT

With @Welsh's approval:

1. When we're ready to launch, we'll create a NEW announcement thread with accurate title and updated content

2. This current thread - which documents the entire development journey and community collaboration - will be moved to Archival

This thread represents how LUMENYX was born: built in public, shaped by community feedback, with complete transparency. It will remain accessible for anyone who wants to see how the project evolved.

THE NEW ANNOUNCEMENT

Will have the correct title reflecting what LUMENYX really is:
- Pure PoW with CPU mining
- EVM smart contracts
- 21M fixed supply
- No premine, no team, no admin keys

LAUNCH STATUS

We're finalizing the code. When everything is ready and tested:
→ New [ANN] thread goes live
→ Network launches
→ Everyone starts equal at block #0

Transparency update.

We were about to launch. Everything was ready.

Then we discovered a problem.

WHAT HAPPENED

During final checks, we found that 8 users had already connected to the network before the official launch. The bootnode address was accidentally left in the README.md on GitHub.

Proof: Our node showed 8 peers mining on a chain that wasn't supposed to exist yet.

This violates our core principle: everyone starts equal at block #0.

WHAT WE DID

- Removed all bootnodes from GitHub
- Reset all nodes
- Changed genesis parameters to invalidate the old chain
- Released v2.0.0 with new genesis hash

Anyone who connected early now has coins on a dead chain. Those coins are worthless.

The old bootnode peer IDs no longer work. The old genesis hash is incompatible.

Clean slate.

LAUNCH PROCEDURE

As always stated: everyone starts equal.

The only exception: the first validation node needs ~2 hours head start to stabilize difficulty and create initial blocks for others to sync.

After that, bootnodes will be published and everyone joins together.

NEW TIMELINE

Launch delayed by a few days while we verify everything is clean.

We'll announce the exact date/time here. No surprises. No early access.

Please respect the procedure.
