How's gambling for you in 2025?

We've passed the year 2025, and many of you I know gamble more often now that online casinos have become tremendously popular here in the forum.

Has anyone created a record of liquidation about your gambling activities if you're in a win-win situation or deep in debt because of gambling?

It's also included for those people who gamble just for fun, maybe it's time to calculate your losses even if you think that it's for fun.

I am confused about what to answer in the survey because my losses are bigger than the wins I got in 2025, while the choices in your survey do not say so with my point, first you ask about winning more than losing, second losing completely or no wins, third the result is a draw with no wins and losses, the last is gambling for fun, I mean there is no point about losing more but I also feel that winning last year is to be questioned in your survey, now should I choose to gamble for fun even though I have calculated everything and know that I lost more than I won last year?

Here in Brazil, we have many regulated casinos; it's almost irritating how many commercials are shown on television, the internet, and the radio, but these casinos don't accept cryptocurrencies. So, I kind of split my budget to be able to use both models. I like crypto casinos for betting on slots and other typical casino games, and other casinos for sports betting.

For me, it was a year like any other where I bet at online casinos; I didn't win much, and I didn't lose much either.

I haven't really sat down to think about my gambling activities for 2025 but do far I think my wins were a bit fair...towards the end of the year i had quite a good run with sports games and i made profits...My lessons learnt for 2025 is to stop chasing losses and profits, I lost some good amount of money at the beginning of last year and everyone since then I stopped gambling carelessly, I plan to keep it that way

The third point is an interesting one.  If there were equal wins and losses, then there's no profit or loss. I see this in the same way as point four. Although, yes, I answered that I'm not bothered by conclusions about the success or otherwise of gambling. Nevertheless, there's a certain deception in realizing that with the money we lost, we could have purchased a multitude of other useful things. Sometimes our desire for entertainment exceeds our means, and then we realize that we should have been a little more careful with our spending.

I voted number fourth so I don't mind it, I gamble just for fun. I allocate my gambling activity monthly so I have no problem if I loss. Winning and losing are part of gambling. But if we chase the win, that will be difficult for us and we can lose much.

But I don't record my gambling activity as I don't take it as important thing. The money is something that I am ready to loss it so nothing to lose for me.

I am not borrow money to gamble because that can gives more problems. Borrowing money to gamble is not recommended so don't do that.

I may have won some money which should be more than what I wagered but I picked the last one because it doesn't matter and I play for fun that is why I always uses small amount and not to spend much time for the gambling acitvity.

I either did not have records of my gambling activities because I do not gamble frequently and it is just a small amount of money that am I using to gamble.

Borrowing money to gamble is a red flag to know that someone is an addict already to gambling but there could be some life situations that someone can think of trying his luck, but no matter what the life situation is, borrowing money and using it to gamble is a very bad idea.

You're right. If every gambler keeps records of what they spend on bets, definitely it won't be to the advantage of the gambling industry. Many of them won't be going back to gamble after a while because they're more likely to find out what they've been spending without returns, especially for those who don't win anything. It's better to assume one is doing well than to find out one isn't.

So in 2025, just make sure you track your daily losses, you never know you might be able to control your habits better.

I was like damn nah, the people has already been possessed with gambling even without handwork of the forum promoting the casinos but come to think twice, it's all true that the has also contributed to the dominance before, as much members of the forum is participating in the gambling discussion board here, so also we're bound to discover new miles on gambling more due to the popularities of gambling provisions and activities in the forum. Lol.

There had never been a long term comprehensive gambling records for me because I let the past experience go so that I don't become worried of them.
So if can only say that my gambling records so far is just fine as positive remark.

It's not worth calculating, all I can say I I have always use $10, $15, $20 max to gamble in 2025, the amount changed base on how much make in a week from my business, many would say this is too small amount for gambling but for me it is more than enough, I can see people using less amount to gamble on sports and they make big amount of money.

I don't plan on changing this in 2026 as well, I protected myself very well and made sure that gambling doesn't get in my way of life, I was able to save money for myself and also do some investment too, if you are a gambler and it's not getting in your way then you are doing very well for yourself, keep it that way if you want to be responsible.

It will be difficult for gamblers to experienced equal win and lose in the gambling center, the majority of gamblers I have pay attention to hear what they have lose or win from gambling, I discovered that majority of some gamblers losses is higher than winning but they are comfortable with it because they gamble for fun,  that is some gamblers that have time to calculate what they have lose in the past in gambling because I don't have such time to calculate my losses and winning, I don't have time for such because am not taking gambling as an investment that will make me think I have lose funds that I would have use to build house or buy land.

I wager small amounts and prefer betting on sports and competitions that I am familiar with. Although I don't keep track of wins and losses, I am pretty sure I recorded some profit overall in 2025. It's not a lot. But then again, I never looked at sports betting as a way to get rich. I am sure as hell not going to get poor doing it.

I don't keep any track of my losses, I only gamble with what I can afford to lose because gambling depends on luck. Honestly, I think I recorded more winnings last year because ever since I started playing gambling 2025 was a huge win for me because I almost had winning every week.

However, as long as you are gambling responsibly with the amount you can afford to lose there's no need to do anything else in gambling because going more further to calculate your losses would definitely lead you into more denger.

I dont know how to evaluate my gambling experience in 2025. Most of my sports bets I have lost. But that was due to supporting my national teams in various sports (they did not perform well this year). I havent played much other games. Even though I havent won much, those expenses did not disappoint me. I have participated in many raffles during year and havent won a single one of it. Compared to 2024, I have dedicated less time to online gambling, but had more «home» games which were fun.

All in the past now but it was awesome, I had some good wins and so many bad wins but I couldn't tell because I risk small money on gambling, nothing comes close to facing your life and making money but using a fraction of that to take risk on gambling, it's exciting and more fun.

The only lesson I learnt in 2025 is how wasting of time it can be for you when jumping from one casino to another simply because you are not getting much luck, it mostly doesn't matter, I did my experiment and it failed but I got my answer.

2025 was not bad and I hope 2026 brings open door not just in gambling but my finance in general, I had to write down every dreams that needed to be a success in my life this year, this has never failed me, 2026 is going to be fun year.

I think it was also in Brazil is the post I see in the forum last time about lottery being held in the New Year's Eve, and I am not sure if that user was you? Maybe you are not really into gambling and that is why you got irritated about the gambling ads but this must be true since you also said that you don't win and lose much. About the gambling ads on the internet, it is not about being in a country of Brazil anymore but they are coming from different places.

It is only normal for a regulated casino to rarely accept a crypto. So far, I only see one that do so but many might still support a stable coin and a CBDC. We can still consider them a crypto since they use Blockchain technology too. I don't why you prefer the other/fiat casino for sports betting but is it because they support local games? But on this one international crypto casino, I heard users there are also able to bet on local games.

Looks like you are not paying much attention on winning and more unto enjoying your gambling experience last year. Even if the bets you made didn't give you much better result, but the support you made on your national teams somehow shows that you are fine whatever things happened on your bet placed unto them. Also for sure experience is not the same compare if you didn't place your bet so still I think what you experience still worth it especially if you are satisfy on how your national team performed.

As what I see you are more healthier on year 2024 since you manage to lessen up your time participating or placing bets on any gambling activities and this will make people have less chance to experience addiction.
