I’m trying to find the best way to swap my Ethereum (ETH) to Bitcoin (BTC) without using a centralized exchange like Coinbase. Is there a simple no‑KYC method that lets me convert ETH to BTC privately without creating an account or submitting ID? Currently struggling to swap my eth for btc

Well this is an always the hardest to get because not all exchanges that offers you BTCETH as this could be that very difficult for a crossed chain transaction, although there are one DEX that I have came across then. I can't actually flashed back to that exchange if I could remembered it again now, that you need to at least swap your btc to wrap before sending, or either exchange are offering Wrapped bitcoin directly. But side note; keep in mind that those are not direction to be bitcoin as they are altcoin in disguised to be bitcoin, In fact they are also carried real value as bitcoin but they are automatically bitcoin.

Then go to symbiosis.finance for example (another DEX) and then bridge back the WBTC to BTC.

none of it is a DEX, but CEX, as you send money and hope they will send, from reports I see they usually freeze over fake aml excuses (changelly, simpleswap, fixedfloat, changenow) you can find yourself, so I need a DEX, it's really not doable? Ethereum is the place of DEX, just looking for a cross-chain swap for ETH to BTC.

Looking for DEX exchange converting Bitcoin to ETH or ETH to Bitcoin seems difficult as usual many DEX available for altcoin, I can't get any one yet in the forum or social media platform advertising any DEX available converting Ethereum to Bitcoin. Nowadays to convert bitcoin need an CEX exchange account and almost exchange have regulation for verifying document ID.

Recently I checked at ChatGpt and recommended any site available convert BTC to Ethereum but not popular yet with that DEX, from SecureShift, Godex and Swapter. Be careful and make more research about the DEX allow to convert Bitcoin to Ethereum firstly before making transaction, better recoomended use the CEX exchange and you can withdraw later to cold wallet.

I'm not recommending any DEX, just some helpful tips. If it's a large amount, it's best to split it into multiple exchanges. Be careful with selectively freezing funds; many DEXs out there don't actually have their own liquidity.

Bitcoin's network traffic isn't particularly high right now, which will save you even more on fees. Ethereum has also made significant protocol improvements, which have significantly improved gas efficiency.

If you don't want KYC, you have to avoid centralized exchanges and choose no-KYC exchanges, CEX or DEX, to use. There are some no-KYC exchanges for you to choose from the following list.

They don't require KYC and you get native BTC after you withdraw. Fees and volume are quite good as well.

You would need to do ETH > USDC > BTC.

That's probably the only DEX I would recommend. Otherwise go with a kycfree CEX from https://bitlist.co/exchanges (as mentioned above).

Besides the one mentioned above, THORSwap can do this but always check their slippage, liquidity, and make sure you're using the right dapp from THORChain.

You can use exchanges like Hyperliquid, Aster, or THORSwap, as some other members have suggested. Or a simpler way is to use the Metamask wallet. As far as I know, Metamask officially supports BTC (native BTC), and they offer a feature to swap coins and tokens directly within their wallet. With Metamask, everything becomes easier because you don't need to perform many steps. But be aware of the swap fees, as I think they will be quite high.

What do you mean no need KYC for basic features?

Those 3 you were mentioning is the most important reason why exchanges exists and those no KYC days are over for less withdrawal limits. Nowadays even you want to withdraw the minimum withdrawal limit there you need to complete your KYC or the feature won't be available. But you can deposit and trade as much as you want but if you can't withdraw them then what is the point?

I don't think DEX is popular anymore for such trading pairs. People usually use instant exchanges like fixedfloat. Since fixedfload has a terrible reputation lately, I do not suggest it to people anymore. I noticed that you have updated the topic regarding which exchange you have used. But for others who might be interested, I would suggest they to look at Bestchange and check their pairs. It's not just ETH to BTC; they can find any pair they would like to exchange. I think more exchange monitors also provide similar data. But always remember to do your own research before you start using a service. Make sure they do not ask for a KYC and they have a good reputation.

You would discover the use of an aggregator that helps to compare rates across multiple platforms without having to visit the exchanges directly to check their rates.
You would also discover that you can avoid semi CEX swap services that can be used across different chain protocols like Thorchain of which you can connect wallets like Metamask or Xverse to and easily swap your ETH to BTC.

It's minimal if you have 1 BTC (0.2%). You want good prices, then don't ask for such methods and just use P2P

If you want, you can use the same DEX (symbiosis.finance) to directly get native BTC from ETH but because they do the conversion for you, you will get slightly worse price.

Actually, WBTC if you time it, can be better price than BTC itself.

Those 3 you were mentioning is the most important reason why exchanges exists and those no KYC days are over for less withdrawal limits. Nowadays even you want to withdraw the minimum withdrawal limit there you need to complete your KYC or the feature won't be available. But you can deposit and trade as much as you want but if you can't withdraw them then what is the point?

Some lower tier exchange allow withdrawal with a huge enough amount for non KYC account with the risk of your account getting frozen out of nowhere.

They can be an option but it's like a roulette, you just never know when they will freeze your account and your money is simply gone. I'd definitely avoid.

Chainflip is a real exchange, but they have a different domain. The OP is promoting an imitation that is probably a phishing site. It looks identical to the real site, but the wallet connection popup is slightly different on the fake website.
