I tried to research on what platforms allow kids to buy stuffs online, but I always get that result about they are not allowed to buy online since what has been said they are minors. So I think law won't allow them to do that to avoid getting any issues towards bad spending's or other uncontrollable matters.

Every platform that officially does not allow children to buy goods is actually in compliance with applicable laws, and children are still under parental supervision so they cannot do that, so no platform allows it.

Maybe they can do it thru p2p if there's an online seller would allow to get paid on crypto in exchange with their toys or other things kids needs.

Hmm maybe it can be done with P2P --- it's just that children rarely do P2P transactions with strangers, if only to buy toys, just go to the store with parents.

I mean when I think myself at age 14 to 18 I realize that these kids are awesome and there is nothing wrong with that. It is clear that we are seeing kids who are achieving a lot more than what I did at that age and that's impressive.

I would focus on my homework and when that's done I would just play games. That's literally my entire life ages between 14 and 18 years old. I would wake up, go to school, come home, do my homework, eat my dinner, and play games until I slept. These kids are doing so much better at a young age.

Today kids have many opportunities available through which they can earn money to support themselves and their families. They can work on freelance platforms like upwork or invest in Bitcoin to get good profit. But these activities must be done in spare time, as a kid your priority must be your school education. If a young kid is not able to focus on his studies then he will face it difficult to tackle situations once he jumped into professional life. It will be a big plus for kid if he has school education along with skills in current emerging technologies.

There are already teens and preteens who are using Cryptocurrencies to do business within secondary markets of MMORPGs like RuneScape, World of Warcraft, and Habbo hotel. So it is very plausible we will see children and kids using stablecoins and their own non-custodial wallets in the future to fund their favorite games, buy skins in their favorite online shops and profit from the time they decide to invest on those games.

There are probably already secondary markets for people on Roblox to get in-game currency in exchange of Bitcoin and stablecoins.

That may be true to some extent, and at a certain age, they will treat it like any other payment method, especially online. If you are not old enough, it is better not to, even though it is attractive, the fear is that they will get caught up in things that are less than positive for their motor development, especially if they are exposed to gambling too early.

Possible. If we can buy eloads during our early days in computer online games, it'll gonna be easy for them to access crypto if majority of the platforms accepts it. Imagine for a simple game like Roblox, kids find ways to buy credits/eloads for that game, to customize their avatars and other stuff like to make them enjoy. What if crypto is one of the payment options in every game similar to roblox? Then they will find ways to learn it, youtube is accessible, curiosity occurs to learn everything like what we did back then when we're at young age. Same thing happened but different situation, different tools and it's very accessible nowadays. Soon, this early exposure could create a generation that’s much more financially literate and comfortable with crypto than us and that's a great idea.

Kids these days are mostly interested in fun and games. To find a kid who actually cares about building long-term wealth, is a rarity. Imagine a kid mining crypto at home or even staking it for financial gain. It would be something unusual. Since crypto is akin to cash (no KYC if spent from non-custodial wallets, and built-in privacy features depending on the coin of choice), kids will become quite comfortable using it. Beats using their parents' credit/debit card.

For what I know, only a small number of kids are using crypto for day-to-day payments. But that's where I live. It could be different in other parts of the world. Who knows? With Bitcoin becoming extremely-popular these days, we might see kids getting on the "crypto bandwagon". It should only be a matter of time before this happens.

If crypto teaches kids to work (even if it's just boring tasks online like surveys or whatever) to earn money so they can spend it on silly minecraft skins or whatever, then that is a great way for kids to learn things. You do not understand it because you never saw it, but a generation that learns what finance is and how money works starting from age 8 or 10 would be vastly richer than the previous generation but we keep on not teaching kids things that would be very valuable for them on the long term, instead we wait until they learn it themselves. Like most people even in their 20's do not know how a loan works.

Well, it's not strange that Gen Z and the coming generation will be using crypto at a very early age. The reason is that the crypto is widespread and being used in so many online stores. This wasn't the case 5 to 6 years ago and hence we cannot blame the people before for not using crypto as much as it is being used by the young generation now.

The online businesses have to include Bitcoin as a payment method, otherwise they will lose a lot of the new generation as they aren't used to spending with credit cards, etc. In the coming years, people will only be spending in crypto.

Maybe it would be something like the Chuck e Cheese franchise and their tokens? From what I can remember from my childhood, it was very popular with children because they could exchange a certain number of tokens for toys or candy.

What do you mean by stuff? It can have so many meanings, so be specific in your context.

However, buying something with crypto by kids is something we should be happy about because they are growing with the love for cryptocurrency and they are already diverting from fiat and centralized system into a digital crypto world where they can start their lives with financial freedom. I just wish they will keep learning always to avoid making mistakes because crypto transaction is irreversible.

Definitely. As technology advances, I see most people adapting to these changes. I can already see myself ordering my food with crypto. hopefully in the future!

There is every tendency that kids will be buying things or stuffs with Crypto I wouldn’t doubt that anyways, considering that the world we are living in right now is a digital world and so many things can actually happen and the future is uncertain, because people doesn’t know what will happen in the future so I wouldn’t completely dispute this claim right now, when you see Children of this generation like they call themselves Gen Z generation, there are so many things that they know and sometimes you wonder how they know this things, because during the age of the Millennium things was quite different, the technology that is here now is unimaginable, so I think it’s absolutely possible for kids to buy stuffs with Cryptocurrencies digitally.

Kids dealing with crypto already is not something that is acceptable. Handling and trading crypto is a very risky business which kids are not allowed to be involved. So it is in the court of the parents to determine if their kids would be exposed to something as risky as cryptocurrency let alone for them to buy stuffs with it.

Anyways, once children have access to the internet, you might not be able to detect what they do online

True. Many kids will fall for social engineering, hacks, and even scam artists. Only a small few are smart enough to avoid getting duped by malicious actors. I think developers should add some sort of AI assistant to the wallet that would prevent kids from making a wrong decision. Another solution would be for parents to create a multi-sig wallet which forces kids to ask for their approval before making a transaction.

Either way, I don't think such risks will impede kids from trying out crypto. They're always curious, seeking out new things to explore. Once cash is phased out from existence, kids' adoption of crypto will rise. I mean, it will be the only form of money kids will be able to use without undergoing KYC/AML checks. Not sure how CBDCs will work in this regard, though. Especially when it comes to minors. Just my two sats.

Yes I think kids would fine crypto appealing, even now a lot of teenage kids are making crazy money from crypto, and most are restricted by the 18 year limit for kyc verification, but with the help of non centralized exchanges wallet like trust Wallet there are not restricted by age, and if This continues like this kids will definitely find crypto appealing.
