If you watched the video, you would realize that it still consumes energy because it is not magic. It may have some minor practical applications, but I do not expect for anyone's car to run on it any time soon. Perhaps we should focus on something better like reversible computation instead of taking engines that work and replacing them with engines that do not work very well.

I am very much convinced that in ten years or so internal combustion engines will reduced usage, you cant stop inventions.

Cars are extremely inefficient and wasteful because it should not take 2 tons to move around a 150 lb human especially when that human is going to work and his job is bullshit. And humans are so sick mentally that they value complete and total bullshit jobs over reversible computation. HUMANS ARE A BUNCH OF SICKOS! THEY ARE SICK BASTARDS!
