You say that every bet should be viewed as an equal risk, but in same post you acknowledged that you shouldn't bet with bets that are too high (or more then you can lose).
But bigger bets are by definition a bigger risk. Because it doesn't matter what your odds are. When it comes to risk, you are only risking the amount you are betting. Rest is just speculation of the outcome.

Actually you shouldnt be waiting for those loses to be significant before you would stop but since we are talking about reality then almost 100% of gamblers do really reach out this state on which the moment or time that they would completel stop is that on the time that they do literally have no money for them to bet or play on.
