If you start eating once a day instead of three, and sleep in a hammock outside instead of a rented house, you'll be able to save even more money for a bitcoin purchase.

Seriously speaking, your friends are spending their money on temporary (current) pleasure, while you're focusing on the future (are you really going to spend that $4,000 on anything, or are you going to keep it until you die?).

Entertainment is just as important in people's lives, and it's impossible to live your entire life restricting yourself to the bare necessities just for the sake of saving (you wouldn't want that). Yes, that's right. I'm also trying to think positively about it. Who knows besides buying game items just for fun they're also investing. Logically if someone dares to buy $20 worth of game items every week they're certainly buying them with extra money. In other words they've already set aside money for fun, in addition to their needs, emergency funds and investments.

I completely agree with that. I think we deserve to spend some money on ourselves sometimes, despite the necessity of saving money for the future, because if we work so hard to make money, we should spend some of it to get relaxed and enjoy ourselves, and even if someone isn't making money yet but they get pocket money or whatever, it's not necessary for them to save all of it. It could be called wrong if someone is making good money, but not saving anything from it, because we should have portions dedicated for each thing, one for fun, one for expenses, one for savings, and one for investment, only if we are making enough money.

If we don't make a lot of money, we should reduce the amounts, but we should still have a portion of our earnings that we would spend on ourselves because it's necessary, now it's up to us whether we want to spend that money on a game that we love and play, we use it to watch movies or eat good food, we shop with it, or do anything else that we enjoy, we can even use those funds for gambling as long as we know that we are not supposed to use more than it if we lose. Aren't they buying entertainment? They have no profit motive from the start, only satisfaction, and you stop there for future satisfaction that might not eventuate. This isn't a fair comparison. You can't force anyone to have the same goals or consistency. Spend your money on what you think is worth it.

I was also thinking about the same thing. We often think about how much money we spend on our entertainment, but we shouldn't do that, because entertainment and having fun should be a part of our lives, and even if we are spending some money on things that we like doing, there is nothing wrong with that. Thinking about saving money or using the money or something more useful is good, but that doesn't mean we shouldn't enjoy ourselves at all, playing games or spending some money on them to increase the fun is not a bad thing at all.
