Sport on Gambling site or prediction market which one do your prefer

I haven't had the experience of trying prediction markets yet, so I don't know which is better. It's a bit confusing compared to gambling because there are some options to choose from, like buy yes or no or sell yes or no. It's a bit confusing, but it also includes the war as an option or what is currently trending.
I might better stay with gambling instead because the prediction market seems confusing. It looks like selling shares or buying shares; it works like you are in trading futures, where you are going to buy shares or sell.

I've not used prediction sites before. Everything is worth trying out. If I were you and want to try out the prediction market, I will stake very small amount to see how it goes. Subsequently, I can increase my stake once I am sure I understand how the prediction market works.

Even though I have not used the prediction market before, I have heard people say that the traditional gambling sites are simple to use. According to them, the prediction market is just like trading. I don't know how true this is, but I am going to give it a try too.

Gambling sites are literally better than prediction markets in my opinion.

Gambling sites, especially casinos,s are designed in such a way that it gives you a feeling like you are in a real casino. From quality visuals, sounds, and instant returns after betting. Prediction markets are less appealing because, the site feels too casual. No fun in it.

I started gambling with sports betting on gambling site, and I'm still more of a sports bettor than anything. I don't know if that will change in the future but my love for football is making me doubt there will be ever be a change. Prediction market is mostly for fun, that is how I see it... I don't take it as an opportunity of making money but rather a thing of fun. The options there are not as much as we have in sports betting which make it more risky than sports betting.

The transition of the gridiron to the forecasts of real life occurrences is a very intriguing development that demands a wider view other than the statistics of athletic events. Essentially, you have a good ground to analysing probabilities in football and so, this kind of transition is exactly very reasonable to attempt this time around. Honestly, I already have an account on a prediction market, but since I prefer sports betting and having more betting options, I like betting on gambling sites more than on prediction markets. Some people might say prediction markets are simpler for betting, but for me, the excitement just isn’t as good as betting on sports on gambling sites.

Betting and watching the match in progress is more fun.

Ever since I saw the hype of the prediction markets/sites, I have just visited them once, but never checked again. I didn't sign up for it because I feel like it's just the same as the sports betting websites. The only difference is the unnatural market, which didn't really intrigue me to place a bet. I just had fun checking them because it became the most discussed event. After checking, I went back to the trusted sports betting that I used.

Additionally, I never had the opportunity to compare the odds of the two, but I believe they will not be that far apart. It's the different options that the prediction market offers, which make them unique, but a sports bettor who is accustomed to traditional methods doesn't really need to switch to it.

Some Sportsbook already offers other events outside sports but not as wide as betting market since user bet on anything in there even with ridiculous odds.

I don’t appreciate much polymarket since I don’t bet frequently on sports or any event while I spend most of my time on casino games which sportsbook do offer too.

I have never visited a prediction site before, I mostly see them as where people go to make predictions for future events not really to go and place bets, perhaps if I have a future event that I feel strongly that it'll happen I'll look into a prediction site. I like to bet on a gambling sites, I feel more comfortable because I can play a casino game, I don't think that they play games like slot in a prediction site because it's not core gambling. I like that we now have many options to gamble, physical casinos and bet outlets, online casinos and prediction sites.

I've never also used prediction markets because I don't see the need, betting sites are more flexible and as a parlay lover, I cannot use a provider that does not offer me such. Maybe prediction markets works for those living in countries where casinos are banned.

I am very satisfied with gambling sites and even if I try prediction markets in the future, it might be for research purposes or just to experience it and never to make a habit of it.

What I always checked before was futuur.com because this was introduced here in the forum a few years back and used to bet using their play money at that time because they are only offering btc payments before other than playmoney. Up until they added several alts in their currencies which is now more affordable to other users. You can see betting lines in prediction market that are not in sportsbooks like below - just to give a snapshot (so the betting lines are quite different from regular bookie, so if you feel you need a different angle of betting, you can check prediction markets)

The only thing that takes me to prediction platforms is other forms of events which I don't consider to be sports, such as politics and every other event that these prediction markets make available. For sports betting, I only bet in casinos which have sportsbooks; I understand them better, and it feels more comfortable.

I am good with gambling sites because fhe main purpose is to place your bets and have fun there is no separate experience with the prediction market. besides i feel like the prediction market has too many options that I'm not interested in, politics,  rather and all that. Betting on options on sports are also there but I'm already used to betting with a gambling site it has become my preference

Perhaps the majority here still prefer sports betting as compare to prediction market. Reason being is that we are used and very familiar with sports betting already, as compare to let's say a prediction market that might be complicated for us as it is not the usual betting.

But I could be wrong though, we've seen this market has grown since the last couple of years and so there could be sports gambler who are digging into prediction market. As the saying goes, once a gambler always a gambler and so the expand the way they played and of course, making money.

Not surprising if people would really choose sportsbook over prediction market since that traditional option is what we are familiar compare to that new prediction market which somehow complicated especially for those people don't have experience.

That's why same as you I'd prefer sport book over that other option because for me I'm fine with this and don't like to explore other technical things.

But everything still depends on people choices, since there are people want to try something new and can easily adapt on new offerings. Also as what we can see prediction market grows and maybe this one catch the interest of people that's why they want to try betting on this feature.

You don't go to a prediction amrekt to bet, you go there to trade options, the way you make money there is not by choosing the winner, it's by trading the right options vene if they are losing ones, if you buy them cheap and time the market when they go up because of a freak event, you sell them and you have made money wiht a losing horse. Prediction markets resemble more the cash-out option rather than traditional betting
