Sport on Gambling site or prediction market which one do your prefer

I haven't tried prediction markets yet. Honestly, I spend most of my time on sports betting right now because I enjoy it more whenever I have gambling funds.
I don't feel too bad even if I lose.

Although I had heard about price prediction before, I never really became curious until now. I’m starting to see the differences; they share some similarities,
But they remain quite distinct in other aspects.

Due to they give promotions and freebets at times when I place those bets unlike the prediction market sites.
But those other sites such as polymarket do have more options available which these gambling sites don't offer.

From your question, I will advise you to trying sport betting first before considering others, that will literally strengthen your onboarding mechanism and prepare you ahead by breaking every phobia that comes with gambling. It's better starting with sport betting if breaking the phobia the major priority.

I like to try the prediction market if I feel of doing it. But I'm still sticking to the gambling sites or bookies that we used to have like bitz and the others that I was able to use. If I want to try something else just for curiosity, I'm free to go with the prediction markets because they're getting a lot of attention lately. Each of them have their own use and what it can provide to the gamblers who's looking to test them or might be attracted to stay on them for however they want. So since I haven't used a prediction market, the usual crypto gambling sites are the good ones for me.

It's really hard to grasp the concept of prediction market in my opinion. As I have read specially with the advent of Polymarket during the US election and predicting that Trump is going to win, there are lot of "buying and selling", so I'm not familiar with that, although at first glance, it's looks like aggregation in forecasting who is going to win.

As compare to sports betting, which most of us sports gamblers already understand. Match Winner, handicap and then the odds of the favorite against the under dog. So it's pretty much the traditional way of betting as compare to prediction market which not online includes sports, but any other events around the world like in my example, political events.

But I prefer gambling platforms over prediction markets, since they have been around for a long time and they are more familiar to bettors. They also provide more betting options on one match, and usually gambling platforms provide rewards for bettors. So this is why I feel that gambling platforms are still the top choice for sports bettors.

i am the same as you are, i have also noticed that many people here are not familiar with using prediction market or even owning an account there, i am just familiar with gambling site and i have been using it for a long time now. maybe it will be nice if people who have used it should come and shear their experience. but however i dont see much different in them, perhaps they shear the same goal and objective. using one over the other does not even change anything or mean that one is more lucky than the other.

Yes, I think am like you too because I have not come close to their prediction before, but I think I will give it a try because gambling is all about being lucky. But before I would do that I would want to gather some useful information from the gamblers that have tried it before and see how it goes because I have often see where gamblers normally have luck on the sports they're not even familiar with. After all is still the same thing, there is no much difference between them.

I'm not entirely sure about 'prediction market' but I'm assuming it's about predicting price of a certain crypto or asset within a timeframe? I remember there used to be sites like secondstrade where you can bet whether the price of Bitcoin will go up or down in next 10 mins. It was fun but honestly it's all gambling because no one can predict prices in short term, unless you are someone like Elon musk who can shake the market with a single tweet.

I myself am a sports bettor but certain sites offer this crypto market trading options like BC has it if I'm not wrong. But again I personally prefer to bet on sports such as soccer, cricket, tennis where I can analyse and even if I lose it's at least fun watching the game.

Gambling sites are literally better than prediction markets in my opinion.

Gambling sites, especially casinos,s are designed in such a way that it gives you a feeling like you are in a real casino. From quality visuals, sounds, and instant returns after betting. Prediction markets are less appealing because, the site feels too casual. No fun in it.

That's true, It's just like some local sportbook site that I have used before, the user interface is just simple no heavy design like casino site, it might not be appealing but as you are just playing your games, you will be satisfied. The local sportbook I'm using now was just a casual sportbook but right now they have rebranded and have different things on the website including casino section and live casino, the site is more catchy now than before.

I have already tried both but I prefer to bet on gambling sites that have sports betting inside the site. I don't know why but the feeling is different if I use the prediction market. So that is why I prefer to bet on gambling sites than prediction market. It is no better from both unless you tried and feel the different. As far as I know, Polymarket pays for liquidity (if you hold a position that is on the verge of trading, i.e., you offer the best odds on any outcome), but the percentage is small and I don’t think it’s worth the risk. This option is for market makers and bot owners who are not afraid that a sharp change in quotes will not cause them losses.
Another major advantage of traditional bookmakers is that they offer the opportunity to place multiple bets, a feature that is absent from the Polymarket.

There seems to be a lot of goodnews surrounding the prediction market lately. However, I have never tried to use any of the prediction markets before, and I don't know, maybe i am addicted to gambling sites or don't want to try new things. But i just don't have the feelings that there is a good reason to use it because most of the game offered by the prediction market seems not to align with what i like.
You never can tell; this may change in the future.

I haven't tried betting on prediction markets, but I'm most interested in where the average player finds it most profitable to play and how exactly prediction markets make money from players. If I learn that prediction markets offer better betting conditions, I'll be there in no time. But for now, I only check out a few event probabilities. Overall, I see them actively developing and likely the future, because I see so many platforms trying to implement them to start making money faster than others; even wallets are doing it.

For you to find average players that find profitable, you need to have a close relationship with players that are doing profitably, but there are some event predictions provided by prediction markets that are easy to win, but the benefit is not always worth it.
What i am saying is that most prediction markets don't offer better betting conditions, but the winning prize is always interesting thats the reason why when a winner of the  prediction markets is posted online they always won something big.

Yeah sports betting is fun. It's even more fun now since most crypto sportsbook have evolved and now offer so many markets even for smaller leagues. You can bet on players how many points they will score, rebounds, etc.

I also bet on e-sports a lot and recently noticed that sportsbooks have also added things like Player duels and player kills where you can bet on how many kills a certain player will get. Then you have markets like Rampage which offer 10x and honestly if you watch he drafts you can sometime easily predict it. I don't know how many sports bettors are here but you can relate to what I am saying. Like if Ursa, Morphling are in the game you have a good chance of rampage/beyond godlike and odds for these are always high!

Some businesses will actually run both, a prediction market and a sportsbook (or/and casino).
I even heard that Kalshi, which is known as a prediction market, is now moving into sports betting as well. It makes sense, they know gambling is a profitable industry, and with their existing popularity, they’re obviously trying to maximize profits and grab a share of the market.

So what does that mean for us? More competition, better service, and more options. For them, it’s basically a war for survival. But honestly, who cares, as long as gamblers are satisfied. That’s really all we’re after anyway.

If you have been getting free bets from the casino you are using, right expect that all casinos are giving their users free bets because their are stingy ones that will never allow you to get enough free bet putting restrictions on it so that you can not win huge profits from them if cans you are planning to make use of the money to make huge profits from them. Luck can do this but these kind of stingy casinos will not allow you to win the kind of money that will make them free cheated for giving you the free bet and you are using it to make money from them.

I mean, do you have examples of a "generous" casino? Sounds like it's contradictory with how their business work. At the end of the day, it's up to the users how they'll use the promo. I assume tactics like that work because there's a demand for it. Not to mention it's relatively easy for the casino to give out free rolls and whatnot. Expecting them to hand you $1k for free is a bit too much imo. They definitely have the numbers to see whether the promo is hurting them in the long-term or not. CMIIW.
