What causes reduction in number of ones activities asides deleted posts?

Hello champs, I've just been thinking on where to make this post I don't actually know if this is the right place to make but I stand to be corrected. So I noticed that sometimes my number of activities/post reduces like for instance I might make a post and I see a total number of 60 activities and if I login the next day I notice it will reduce to 57 and I will not see any message of deleted post or any other thing as to what might cause it, I will just see that my number of activities/posts are reduced.
So champs I would love to know if it's normal or if there's is anything that could warrant it  or something I might have done to cause it.
 Looking forward to your opinions and more lights on it.

The reason is simply because the entire thread was you actually posted was deleted and it doesn’t usually notifies one for that, if it was your single post deleted for low quality it would have been notified to you through email.

This topic should be on Meta board because it's above forum activity. However, I haven't experienced it before and I know that the only thing that can reduce the number of your post or activity is when it's been deleted by the mod. Did you check your inbox to see if a message was sent to you about your deleted post.

How many post have you done in total and how many was deleted because your activity cannot be deleted only by you when you delete your post beyond the number of your activity.

One post counts as one activity point but the max activity points for every 14 days is 14, not more than that. You can post more than 14 posts within 14 days but you can not have more than 14 activity points.

With your posts deleted, your activity points reduced too in general, if you don't make more than 14 posts in that 14 days. If you posted more than 14 posts, for example 20 posts within 14 days, and you got 2 posts deleted, your activity points will be 14 as you have other posts to replace deleted posts for remaining same activity points.

If you are receiving PMs about the deleted posts then someone is reporting your posts and mod agree with it. Result is they are deleting the reported posts. If you are not receiving any PM but checking your posts are deleted then it's the topics you left responses. When a topic gets deleted it deletes your responses too but the difference is you do not receive any notification. Someone is reporting the topics here too.

That's why I said asides deleted posts cause I've noticed there was not message about it being deleted but my number of posts is reduced. Two of my posts is deleted but asides the two my number of activities/posts keep reducing.

You have gotten the answer to your question. Maybe the entire thread was deleted by moderators. @EL MOHA also recommended some tools you could use to track those posts that was deleted without notification or messages. This might be because the thread is a duplicate, low quality or contains false or harmful information.

This is the reason I like the Ninjastic telegram bot, if a thread that you posted under is deleted, yes the forum will not notify you that, but if you enable it under the telegram bot, it will notify you.

What the person should do is to go to the bot --> menu --> notifications --> enable deleted posts. Once the deleted posts notification is enabled, he will be able to get the notification if the parent topic is nuked and he posted under it.

Try to avoid posting in off-topic topics or those that involve general discussions. Continuing to post in these topics may lead to you being banned in the future, so only post if you feel that you will add new information.

Deleted post should not  be a reason to discourage for activeness on the forum, all you may just have to do is to know how you could avoid getting your post nuked down and improve on that aspect, there is need for quality post as well.

To answer you fully, reduction in a member's forum activities may come from different angles, which majority of the reasons could have been related to personal dealings, may be the user don't have time for the forum as he used to do before, or if such person experience a decline in his bid for the forum, but being a member here and an established one, i don't there is anything to scare one away from the forum any longer, except for the newbies who may require more time to get used to the forum and readjust themselves.

Sometimes your post count may decrease, not because moderators delete your posts, but because you may have written several posts in a row in a thread, and the moderators merged them into one. Avoid multi-posting.
