If someone is offered the chance to get all the things they want and leave gambling, and they refuse, then I would say it's a prison for them, not a game. For me, if I get financial freedom and the things I want, then I will quit it in a second because it's not a necessity,perhaps it's a source of entertainment and a way to pass the time in a good way. If they can refuse, then there will be no doubt that they are in control, and their way out of it will be harder than anything else.
I don't know how much a person can be gambling for them to be offered huge amounts of money to leave gambling and for them to refuse to leave gambling. Any attempt to continue gambling without taking the offer is a sign of unseriousness and that might be a result of addiction. Gambling should not be something that we can not do without and we should be disciplined enough so that we can make decisions whether to continue gambling or take a rest but there is no way a person that is responsible will not take such an offer to leave gambling financially.
