If I am given luxury then of course I will accept it and quit gambling even though it will be very difficult for me to quit gambling initially but still I will get my luxury and everything so I will lose the gambling mentality. Since if a person has money then he is definitely happy, and some people gamble to overcome loneliness so if money wealth is offered in exchange for quitting gambling then it is definitely a good idea to accept it.

For those who will say it's a difficult thing to do, then ask yourself if you are not a gambling addict yet. It's all just mental, and we can definitely take it out of our system. Imagine how many good things you could do while working on somewhere or at an field you have always dreamed about. The possibilities and potentials are much superior than any gambling session can offer you. So, in most cases I think the answer to this question is going to be the same, unless the individual is an addicted gambler who can't quit consciously.

The condition feels a bit unfair tbh. It's like saying, if you achieved your dream but you have to let go of your addiction, would you do it? Obviously, people will do that happily. Simply, I believe that anyone who is financially independent is not more interested in gambling, so the answer to your question would probably be YES for most of us. Getting a new job and stability will be a great deal and even better than risking money while gambling.

Majority of gamblers bet in search of instant winnings or lottery hoping that they will transform their lives overnight. However, when the individual has been assured of financial security or a dream job, he or she loses the desire to gamble. It is much more rewarding that security, independence, and comfort than risking money to get some gains that are not guaranteed. As an individual, given an opportunity to reach my aspirations or financial liberty at the expense of giving up gambling I would gladly accept it without hesitation. It is tempting to gamble, but it is worth nothing to risk peace of mind and stability.

I don't think anyone in their right minds would choose gambling over this, I'm not even going to hesitate and just quit immediately. It won't be too hard unless the person is addicted, but even if he is, he'll have the resources for therapy and counseling anyway to make it easier. There are also many other activities for fun/entertainment that you can replace gambling with, so it shouldn't be that much of a problem.

I think that only someone who is really damaged in the head would not want to quit gambling because of that. He's got a chance to get rich and enjoy life, so what other reason is there for him to continue gambling? He has nothing to gain by persisting. I would definitely take it. Now I have been thinking to myself I help in my daily job people and other departments to make projects go live in production and why can't I start a simple project myself to contain gambling completely and I did. I am not saying the name of this project as it is running only from 10 days but I will be creating a new thread about it after 4-5 more weeks and tell the results and the funny name I have given to this project. So for me since I am already doing this while not having any dream fulfilled I will immediately trade gambling if someone offers me luxury or a dream that will put me into it. There is not much people I guess that would not trade gambling for a little luxury or a dream fulfilled.

There are people whose job requires them to quit gambling, like footballers, so it won't be something new. Gambling is not a life-or-death thing. It's something I can live without, so if my job or contract requires that I quit gambling, that's exactly what I would do, except I don't like or value the job or deal.
Even on my own, there are times I've stayed about two weeks without gambling. I have stayed a month and just gambled a few times.

I think people should begin to get worried when they willingly or voluntarily stay away from ambling. That is a sign of addiction. Gambling is not air, food or water that a person cannot survive without, no matter how much we love it.

If you're value driven you will know that what gives you money is more important than what gives you entertainment because without money you cannot afford to entertain yourself. Myself perticularly I'll choose a good job and a good life over gambling because I'm not addicted to gambling, I'm a casual gambler and with a better life I can easily get over gambling for good. Your life depends on money to take care of your expenses which never ceaces so priotize making money because without money you cannot afford to gamble. Although we don't need something to restrict us from gambling before we know that we need to gamble responsibly.
