Most probably Yes.  There are so many casinos advertising here and if they suddenly disappear, no one will ever notice them because there are so many available to play around. Competitors are just here offering different flavors which the disappearance may not affect those who play on them from time to time.

I think most managers that I've interacted with stated that sig campaigns are good for brand presence. On the other hand, many of them also said that the reason some campaigns got discontinued was that the traffic wasn't big enough to spend thousands of dollars per week. I think only managers or casino owners will be able to answer that. The sample is quite small anyway, considering most casinos still do long-term promotions here. Now? I think they are going to lose a lot of players. Leaving can mean a lot of thing and trust issues could suddenly pop up. The other case is that there are so many gamblers here right now, and I believe there are more gamblers than just looking for some information about Bitcoin.

I think it will be a bad marketing strategy to just get out and cut the connection. Well, I guess only the owners of the online casino and sports bookies can answer this. How much they will lose will answer that question, and we don't have the numbers.

Here isn't the only advertising hub for casinos, there're other platforms including social media platforms and public figures who act as brand ambassadors, the benefit of running ads here is for the gambling interest board, which helps direct exposure with no extra skill needed to target people of gaming interest, unlike social platforms which some of them frown on gaming ads, and those that do accept promoting gaming, marketers find it hard to set up ads that'll convert, thereby spending millions of dollars in ad that won't convert. I believe why most of these casinos come here is because they've cryptos as their main option for deposit. They believe this forum is the biggest and most widely visited crypto forum globally. So, they know they're bound to find their subscribers here more than they can outside here. However, that doesn't mean casinos can't thrive outside this forum. Of course, there are a few casinos that stopped advertising here through signature campaigns or bounties but are still doing well out there.

You mentioned trust, reputation and safe, and these are key words. For a casino or brand to stand the test of time in this forum, they need to constantly do things right. Most members here are very critical and they neither forgive nor forget bad management.

I remember a few cases I won't mention that where demonized for doing things wrong, and even those members willing to wear their signatures were punished with negative trust. These high standards assure that those that stay are reliable, and this is very valuable info for the newbies with no time to compare or money to risk in investigations.

Finally, to assess the loss of popularity, we should study them on a case-by-case basis. Chances are that, when a brand grows beyond certain point and becomes a benchmark in the industry, it may be able to stand on its own.

You would really be truly impressed if you do see some of the companies that are running signature campaign on here is that it lasted for long years like 4-5 years on which this is something really amazing that they survive this long. This do just simply means that their business is that profitable because they wont be running up these campaigns if it doesnt give out any results into their marketing budget. If they have lasted up long then this means that they are benefiting from it. For those who had stopped specially on the new ones, then it could be only that two possible reasons on which neither they hadnt see any results on their campaign run or they have run out some budget. Campaign results wont be totally be known or would be finalized on just running a single week. This is why running up a campaign here on this forum would be somewhat needed up that sufficient budget.

Not sure if I have the right to share this insight, as I only worked for 3 months as sportsbet.io discord moderator.. One of my tasks was posting all promotions, including posts from their social media accounts. Because of that, I know they stopped promoting on all social platforms, not only here at bitcointalk.
What surprised me is that they recently sent an email about deposit bonus, but they did not offer any promotions during last holiday season, which is very unusual for online casino.
This will surely affect popularity, but yes for some reason they still built strong presence here because of promotions here on bitcointalk. Big credit to Jeremypwr and Steve for organizing contests and pools and making it successful.

I think the answer is a yes because most casinos that stopped advertising here usually do not have much people from here talk about them. They may have users from other places but many people here rarely use such casinos. The reason I prefer playing on casinos that have active presence here is because I can easily share my experience with them and get help or solution to any problem. Bitcointalk is not the only platform for casino advertisement. Some casinos that left this forum might seek other marketing avenues. Bitcointalk is the biggest crypto forum in the world, which is why crypto casinos find it important. Sportsbet left only because they decided to change the concept to a fully regulated casino, no? Accordingly, their target audience changed and, apparently, they changed their advertising strategy.
As for the cycle of arrival -> departure/remaining here on the part of new projects, it can be assumed that at the initial stage, projects try to advertise everywhere (and where it is relatively cheap, for example here) and then look at the metrics - what is the conversion from sources. If they are satisfied with the conversion, they stay, if not, they don't. There is also the option that they stay simply to advertise the brand, the so-called image presence.

Yes, I think it's very important. Especially since we're talking about crypto casinos, right? And advertising on this forum is very targeted because this is where we crypto users are. Unless it's not a crypto casino. Building a name and popularity among crypto enthusiasts who like to gamble is very important.  Even you and I have tried new sites when we see them advertised here, right? that's what happens. So, in my opinion, it's very important. Many also promote on Telegram and other platforms. But I tend to try sites promoted on this forum more often. This is not the only place for casinos to advertise but has become renown as one of the best places for people to find information on crypto, so if that's what your casino specializes in then yes - you'll definitely get a bump by advertising here. Casinos don't advertise here for no reason, they get a reciprocal bump in visitors and search engine "trust" which snowballs to make their site more popular. If that is part of your marketing strategy and you have the right signature manager/thread sponsorships then yes, you probably would notice it starts to trail off when you stop. Sportsbet is a special case, the owner has cut off advertising everywhere so bitcointalk is not the exception and you should not compare this against the plans of other casinos.

What happen after they stop promoting in this forum depends on how they have build their reputation and how wide is the spread of information about their platform is.  Obviously, they do not stop promoting after they stopped their promotion here.

It matters if they stay here for long term, it's also the best place to start when their target users are crypto users as well. So, this forum is the best place for them to start and as well as to retain their long term exposure in their niche targets. But I think that if a time comes and they've got already established users from the global setting, that's the time that they'll have to look for other ways and places to get more exposure depending on the geographical targets they have. While the stay they do here is still impactful and beneficial for them, all good things must have come to an end.

Bitcointalk forum has a lot of engagements and there are lots of gamblers here, so when a casino advertises their platform on this forum it increases the engagements that they have but it can drastically reduce if they stop advertising on the forum due to the fact that 60 to 70 percent of the users come from Bitcointalk. Although this isn't the only platform that they advertise, social media platforms are also there
