Do casinos lose popularity once they stop advertising here?

I’ve seen a lot of casinos start here, run signature campaigns, post promos, reply to users, and slowly build a name. Over time they became popular, partly because they were very visible in the forum. But what happens when they stop doing all that?

Take Sportsbet.io for example. They already left the forum, but the casino itself is still active. I can still access it and people are still using it.

So did they actually lose popularity, or just lose exposure here in Bitcointalk. Maybe fewer new users, but old users are still playing.
Not sure what the right answer is, so I'm just curious how others see it.

You said the casino has left the forum but if they have a promotional offer today, do you think many people will know about the promotion? They will not until they make an advert about it for people to come to their casino. It might not make the casino well known to people but advert push casinos to the mind of the people. Even if they don't use it, they know about it on their mind, more visibility to the people that even though they want to gamble, the casino will be the first on their mind.

I do not know how mangers pull this to convince anyone on this forum about the ads here but let me tell you, if the casino are not making money from here, I don't think many of them will stay here for long time. Some casino are years old since they have been advertising on this forum and they haven't for once stop. The oldest and longest campaign on this forum is still active and running without any problems.

The casino name you have mentioned that has been done a long-term signature campaign in bitcointalk and for that they have been able to make a proper branding of them in this bitcointalk forum for that they have old and regular gambler  from this forum, even if they will not get much exposure to the new members but they also multple promotions work on the multiple sectors that is why they are one of the successful sportbook in this space.
Casino promotion is not just about the signature campaign of the Bitcointalk forum. Maybe they have changed their marketing strategy and expanded into other sectors. Therefore, they have no problem even if they get less exposure than Bitcoin.

If a casino stops advertisements on the forum here, their signature and avatar logo won’t longer be visible because people that promoted the casino will have to join another signature campaign, and the new signature will be visible to forum members, but that doesn’t mean the old casino which they were making promotion for will lose their customers.

People will be making use of the casino but you not going to know, since they no longer making promotion on the forum here, then people might not be talking about them again, but people will still be making use of them.

Just imagine someone have been making use of a casino for some months, and everything is going fine, you don’t expect the person to stop making use of the casino just because they stop promoting on forum here.

No two ways about this, most big names in the crypto casino communities like Stake are all big through considerable push with heavy ads and high marketing since their understand how marketing works and continue to exploit all the available opportunities to prevent competitors taking their place in terms of visibility so when a casino is out of sight, is considered out of mind which means once their stop promoting their services it automatically deactivate most of their ads around the forum.

You are right, most casinos are making money from this forum and it's the reason why they have continued to show their presence here on this forum in terms of advertising and running of various promotions and marketing bonuses..
Marketing on this forum is very profitable but it usually will require a long term goal, this is why most casinos that have been marketing here for long continue to do so because they are already enjoying the benefits.

Some casinos come around on this forum and run a one week marketing campaign and then pause saying they want to access the result, they are not going to see any result because like I said before, it's takes some time, atleast from 6 or more weeks before any casino will start seeing result for their marketing campaign on this forum.

Some casinos come and go from advertising their brand on one online platform, while they remain active in advertising their brand on different platforms all the time. The popularity that has been built will not disappear just because they end advertising on bitcointalk, but maybe some of their customers will also go to other casinos for various reasons. Popularity without a good reputation will make a casino quickly forgotten, but if reputation and popularity are balanced, then there will always be new customers coming.

After all, signature campaigns are just advertisements that are basically aimed at increasing brand awareness, but once they are known, the marketing team will probably just focus on keeping the ANN thread active with various promotions and attractive offers. Most of the gambling sites I make use do have Ann here and I got to use them for the first time when they had a signature campaign and the moment their campaign ended so did any discussion about them and that’s how they got swept under the carpet.

Once a casino stops doing any form of promotion here, their Ann thread gets buried deep and they won’t get any form of exposure anymore unless they have some kind of good promotion outside the forum that helps them get lots of exposure.

You are right mate, on a normal circumstance, a casino is not supposed to stop being popular once they stop advertising on this forum unless they stopped marketing their business in other ways. With what you said, marketing is the bed rock to make a casino maintain its popularity and if a casino stops marketing, they will definitely be replaced by other casinos that are always marketing their casino more.

They won't if they leave peacefully and have already gained trust, as the gamblers stay with them. But for those casinos left, there will be a lot of scam accusations. Gamblers will remember them full of hate.

However, despite leaving the forum, they continue advertising their sites on the other platform. Which means that they are still active, and social media platforms can't deny being a great venue for such a thing.

Any casino that is advertised here is believed to be reputable and trusted so a lot of investors and gamblers on the forum would be interested in making use of those casinos but the moment they stop advertising out of sight is out of mind people start forgetting about these sites not because they are not reputable but because the audience giving them enough engagements isn't going to be the same as when they advertised in the forum. There is still a possibility that casinos will remain popular even though they have stopped advertising on this forum because they can advertise on social media, which has a very wide reach. What you said is true, unless they completely stop advertising their casinos altogether.

However, if a casino does completely stop advertising its casino, it is likely because they are forced to do so due to bankruptcy. If the casino is still operating, I believe they would continue marketing wherever possible.

1 - a campaign here on the forum
2 - an active ANN user who logged in every day to answer questions and resolve issues
3 - bonuses for users who visited the forum

It is probably that they have acquired sufficient exposure here and shifted their marketing elsewhere. Mostly Bitcointalk is employed to generate early trust and exposure. Most users play continuously in terms of brand recognition and habit even after advertisements. The casinos in such a competitive industry never give up on advertising, they simply switch the place and mode of advertising.

Personally, Casino lost appeal to me if they stop promoting or give enough attention to address concerns here because it shows that they don’t give priority to forum members.

i believe there’s a significant decrease on popularity when it comes to Bitcointalk community appeal but I don’t know what it’s effect in general outside the forum since it’s hard to measure that.
