This is fantastic a progressive company that is willing to take the risks. Two things will happen, they would soon find out if it works as good as their plan and make improvements getting a lot of people on their platform or second that it wasn't such a great idea and did not make any difference and decide to ditch it. It is a good way to have themselves positioned for the world. I am glad that bitcoin has come this far from organizations being initially scared of making the bold move to invest in bitcoin to them publicly announcing adding bitcoin to their platform.

There are some things I don't like about Rumble wallet, and I think it would be better if they simply added Bitcoin-Donation button directly on all videos.

They might have notice how some creators add and pin there wallet on some of there pinned post and this there wallet creation move might be to share from all the tips which creators will receive just like what happens on TikTok, every gift a creators is being gifted they get there own percentage before the creators can have his, if they succeed in creating the wallet it could just be in app use wallet where they will also have control over it and be able to deduct or do what ever they can, in all its all about what they can benefit and not just making the place better for the creators.

It makes sense that Twitch and youtube have tipping feature for the streamers but only allowed for mostly with Paypal.

I must applaud this great news from Rumble, although I must concur that they took their time before considering this adoption of Bitcoin on their platform. Many other platforms are way ahead and have done great so far, which has led to further upgrades and initiatives on the Blockchain network.

Allowing the viewers to tip content creators with Bitcoin/crypto isn't such a big deal. What would be great is paying the content creators for their Ad revenue and subscription revenue in Bitcoin/crypto. I'm not familiar with Rumble, but I can assume that they have some sort of premium subscription feature, just like Youtube. The platform must also allow the viewers to pay for premium features with BTC/crypto.
I don't believe that Rumble would ever become a strong competitor to Youtube, but maybe making the platform crypto-friendly would spark the interest among the crypto community, so that more "crypto bros" could start consuming content on Rumble.

I am not familiar with Rumble; I just heard about it a few days back from one of our native YouTubers who mostly creates controversial content on YouTube. Due to the strict sensor, most probably he has been uploading videos on Rumble. Not sure if Rumble allows freedom of speech like Bitcoin's financial freedom. Because nowadays people don't like censoring too much and like freedom of speech. Though they aren't popular yet, based on their service, video creators would move there.

Regarding Bitcoin holdings, it's definitely a positive thing, since they realised the potentiality of Bitcoin and are allowing users to tip through Bitcoin. It would be a beginning; it would be better if they enabled monetisation through Bitcoin and allowed advertisers to place ads through Bitcoin payment. So crypto users would definitely move to Rumble. I hope they will slowly implement a Bitcoin payment system for their platform besides just tipping creators.

That's almost a billion dollars, quite a good investment. Btw I'm sceptical about Rumble. Many of YouTube's decisions are made to keep the platform advertiser-friendly. Rumble has different content and attracts mostly those who speak about things that are censored and companies don't want to be associated with them, in my mind. Rumble operates at huge annual losses. Competing with YouTube, which has 1000x higher revenue than Rumble, looks almost impossible for me. As far as I know, every video streaming platform has failed against YouTube. No one was able to create a video streaming platform that would be profitable.

From this article, my conclusion is that MoonPay is one of the most successful companies in its niche and is heading towards the right direction.

To be honest, I've also never used the platform, and obviously, it's not as famous or widely used as YouTube, but even then, it's still a good thing if they are adding a wallet and allowing their users to tip or send donations to streamers using cryptocurrencies. Even if they are not huge, they still have an audience, and this is a positive promotion for Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies as a whole. If it doesn't have much of an effect, it doesn't matter, at least it's a start for video streaming platforms to implement cryptocurrencies into their ecosystems, which is a positive development.

It will really be easier, as users won't have to link their card to buy a gift or fund their gifting account before they can gift their fan. With the help of crypto, they can send it directly without having to reveal themselves or link their identity to the spent funds, unless they require some form of verification before the wallet is made use of. That's only when some will not consider it as any different from how the system is already designed.

That makes sense. A built-in Bitcoin wallet would make tipping way easier than using third-party services, and it fits well with Rumble’s free-speech and Bitcoin-style values. If done right, it could attract both creators and viewers from YouTube.

The problem is not the users of the platform itself, but whether they can attract the tipsters to use the platform, unlike other platforms that are complete with possible viewers and tipsters who go around and watch the streamers. Maybe they indeed want to attract to enthusiasts to their platform, but I believe it's more of a game of battle for the throne ever since Youtube announced their first step of development of paying US content creator with PYUSD in December last year which I believe is a step that mean they have huge plan of adding Bitcoin and other altcoin in the future and to be the first to adopt Bitcoin as a video streaming platform is what Rumble did by partnered with Tether instead of Paypal just like Youtube did.
I believe there's more goodnews in the future since almost all settings are working on the integration of Bitcoin as payment.
