In any case, it still works perfectly on both browsers, so perhaps my version of the browsers is more stable.

Nobody here uses translator to converse, but Vod tends to read things very literally (according to him). So he might have assumed we were being serious (when we weren't ).

Anyway the good news is Kiwi (v137.0.7337.0) is still working, no removal or crashes. As for the Mises (v426011416) it's long since crashed. So I won't be using it on Mises anymore.

I believe we can conclude we have found our most stable version of SP (with no conflicts coming from BRDb). Finger crossed...

1) The first time you win a faucet you'll be required to enter an address.  I'm still working on this process, as I need a better SaS. 
2) Type any name you like and click the checkmark.  If no one else has it - it's yours!  I originally designed the random username to have no collisions for 100,000 users  WORD-WORD-WORD-NUMBER, then I realized I would never have that many users.

I am well aware of that. In fact, I was was using Kiwi before it got discontinued, and then shifted to Mises (not by choice, of course).

I still keep using it even though it’s now a defunct project, obviously at my own risk.

Or does each UserID have an account where the winnings will be ‘deposited’?

It is not a draw, it happens every hour at a random minute when a user clicks +Pulse.  First user to click on the flashing bitcoin symbol on the extension wins a base amount x their pulse power, and they have a chance to win up to 20x more.  You will need a BTC address to accept the coin.   **AGAIN** this is changing - I need to find a new provider.

You will mate. It's really shiny and eye catching when it starts doing its thing (glow and pop effects and all that).
Just press the +pulse and you'll notice that Bitcoin symbol (when he resumes it again). So far, I have won like 4 times 2x - 2 times, 1x - 2 times with the limited time he kept it running.

Just installed the extension. Can't wait to see that faucet opportunity.

I feel like it's a fair faucet that can't be abused by bots because it's not available to everyone simultaneously at a set time interval like most faucets are. In this case, it's at a random minute of every hour, so you'd have to be actively pulsing and watching the logo for the animation to catch it. It rewarding for those who accumulate lots of time browsing/reading through the forum.

It kind of reminds me of the golden cookie in the cookieclicker game.

I'm not sure what the reward is because I haven't hit the faucet yet, but it might need to be adjusted as well as the event timing if/when more people start using the extension. Possibly at a random minute of every 30 minute interval? 15 min? Idk. That way more people feel they have a good opportunity to catch it next time if they miss it here and there.

Also, it's so cool you can change the theme to dark. Even cooler how you can chabge the colors of certain forum elements. Some of my forum text is now orange.

Yeah, the more you use the forum, the higher the chances of hitting the faucet.

There is also an [Option B] - where you get to play a game with 3 choices, with rewards up to 20x the initial or 0x busted.

A faucet you can play a little game of chance with the rewards...that's new. I like it.

The reward being ~150 satoshis is around 10 cents at the moment. That's actually quite a high reward considering what most other faucets typically give out. I remember when freebitco.in was still a thing, at these btc prices you'd probably expect 5 satoshis every hourly faucet roll. Then again, this faucet can only be won once every hour by one person, so the huge reward makes sense.

So maybe if the faucet opportunity increased to twice or even 4 times an hour, the reward may need to be adjusted down to sustain for several more wins per day and stuff. I'm sure once Vod starts advertisement he can bankroll the faucet easier.

By the way, I’ve been pretty absent from the forum at the moment for unavoidable reasons; in fact, I haven’t even been making any changes to my tool and my to-do lists have actually grown

Bumping this thread as there is a new update, v2.0.16 from Vod.

First look, on the outside everything looks exactly the same as before. I did noticed a little color change of "pulsed by x people".

Nothing major, no crash so far. Although there is one thing I noticed, some of the pulsed by doesn't contain any number.
Not some but all of it. For example in this post (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5561218.0 - every replies contain a "pulsed by" message. My guess is, these replies were never pulsed by anyone.



And this one below, was pulsed by someone, hence the correct number.

The update vod did is nice, but I prefer the old version – it’s a matter of taste, of course.
But this one was nicer and highlighted the extension better.

The update was only published an hour ago. That's why you probably didn't noticed there had been a new version.
His website doesn't show much about update history, but if check his github repo directly, there you'll see every details, like bugs, features, changelogs...

The extension finally doesn’t crash anymore, unlike the old versions.
It’s now become an extension I can’t do without! Often because I don’t have any Merit to send to posts I think are important.
It would be nice to get a notification when someone upvotes a post. A bit like Tryninja’s Telegram notifier bot.

That's baked into the faucet design.  The same icon that alerts you to the flash faucet also pulses when some upvotes a post.
