After updating Layerz Wallet to version 1.6.0, my entire Arkade transaction history disappeared. Now it looks as if I never had anything there at all.

The Arkade deposit address shown in the wallet remained the same, though.

Fortunately, I can enter my seed phrase into Arkade.Money and Chimera Wallet. There, this seed phrase still grants access to my transaction history and my original address. However, it's strange that the seed phrase fails to restore access to my history within the Layerz wallet itself!

investigating
Let me give you a more complete picture for the investigation.

Currently, I have Layerz Wallet installed on two phones:

First phone (Version 1.5.4): Displays the correct transaction history up until July. However, after that, there is a transaction 173c5f40c81f8058789590f63a875b5528407f18e78479a907d3d1ad94ec650e dated July 1 at 00:48:20 (GMT+4). I did not make this transaction, and it shows 220,142 satoshis being withdrawn from my balance.

Second phone (Version 1.6.0): Has no transaction history displayed at all.

When importing the seed phrase from Layerz Wallet into Arkade.Money and Chimera Wallet, both show the correct transaction history: prior to July, it matches the history from Layerz Wallet v1.5.4. However, in July, the unauthorized transaction 173c5f40c81f8058789590f63a875b5528407f18e78479a907d3d1ad94ec650e is missing. Instead, there is transaction b3db89ccb92379e6b5e4669e005047d7a8e6df971e4209d5fc42836e2e83faf4 dated July 4 at 13:03:14 (GMT+4), which I actually performed in Arkade.Money to withdraw the 220,142 satoshis.

Additionally, I would like to note that on July 2, I contacted Layerz Wallet support and opened ticket #497 regarding this issue, but the ticket remains unanswered to date.

this is great thanks. i have a feeling its related to the Arkade SDK upgrade - we are discussing with the Arkade team to trace issue and will revert asap. (will also update via support ticket as it seems we have a few tickets that were never assigned - sorting that too !! ) thanks for the feedback and helping us to iron out user experience issues!

LayerzWallet, for swaps between different L2s, did you use Boltz.exchange, or do you have your own liquidity or other providers?

After Boltz.exchange announced it was shutting down, it became quite difficult to find fast and convenient options to move bitcoins from one L2 to another.

This could be a defining moment for Layerz Wallet. Or were you also completely dependent on Boltz.exchange for this, like many other wallets?

We have 4 exchange providers with 2 more coming online by the end of the month. That being said - Boltz is one of the most used and had some of the best liquidity and trading pairs. We will have a complete update by the end of the week listing all active providers and have a more definate timeline on the two new ones. we should have full swap functionality across all pairs in the next week or so
