This issue about starting small, I would say you should allow the beginners to decide if they are going to start small or maybe with a reasonable amount of money that's if they know they can manage the risk. it is true that starting small is better especially for those who are just getting started but some beginners might want to start going big from the start in order to go far before the price of bitcoin goes up. Take for instance those that started thier bitcoin investment in this current dip, if such beginner is aware that there was a time when bitcoin surge to $125k and seeing that the price has drop to $64k or there about, they can decide to be more aggressive in their accumulation journey without even considering the fact that they are new to bitcoin.
The bolded text is absolutely right, but you should know that there are things that delay newbies and I think that trying can convince someone to invest more as time passes by, no matter how it is, newbies are newbies, we should know that, there knowledge is still basic, there are things they still need to know before the can adapt completely to Bitcoin investment, so there is no harm if anyone say that they should start with little amount, maybe along the line, they will increase the amount they are DCAing with when they might have known their way about in Bitcoin investment but at the early time starting small is never a bad idea.

if you want to get rich quickly invest into something like bitcoin or into online business with it you can start with 50000 and earn massively up to 56000 and get what in a year after investing you can earn up to more them a million a year after.
Bitcoin isn't a get rich quick scheme or any of this online ponzi scheme because bitcoin is a long term asset that you need to buy continuously and grow your portfolio overtime before you can start thinking of profit since it's the size of your bitcoin portfolio that will determine your profit in future. I don't think that you even understand what a good asset is because good asset like bitcoin are store of value overtime and it's not for gamblers. The example you gave above is exactly gambling because in reality it's not possible. Be real with yourself and start your bitcoin investment for your future and preserve the value of your discretionary income that you will use to buy bitcoin. If you're talking about trading, it's still gambling and traders cry in the long run.

Bitcoin is something people keep learning over time because there is always something new to learn no matter how long one has been investing. The amount a person invests should depend mainly on what they can comfortably afford, not because they’re “newbie” Start with a sustainable amount, If your income or financial situation improves later, then you can choose to increase your DCA. This make more sense than simply saying when “they know their way” in Bitcoin

Everybody are not in the bitcoin market for the same purpose, while some investors are long term investors, and can endure the pains of even bear market, some are traders who look for quick money, and cannot endure the pains of bear market. If you must make good profit from bitcoin, long term strategy is always the best, and more also, if you are a beginner in bitcoin investing you actually need to gain good orientation before you venture into bitcoin investing because it is always very tempting to see your bitcoin asset going down in price, and you are able to ensure it, if you don't understand how the market works you will surely sell at loss. Also, don't invest with your emergency fund, because it is what makes many bitcoin investors become gamblers, by the time you have emergency, and you have invested the money in bitcoin, you will definitely sell to solve your problems, and if eventually price of bitcoin is down, you will still sell at loss.

For someone that is still a beginner starting with a smaller amount won't be a bad idea . Since they may not really know much about bitcoin investment and instead of not delaying to start because of having limited knowledge. However, the statement that newbies are newbies isn't correct because even someone old investors that has been investing for long woul still prefer to be using smaller amounts to invest. So the idea of Investing with a smaller amount isn't just limited to only newbies alone but to also experience investors.

This make more sense than simply saying when “they know their way” in Bitcoin Being a newbie is not enough reason to invest beyond what anyone can hold at anytime. As a newbie if you don't begin well, your entire days in bitcoin may be ruined by such mistakes. It is very important to ensure you don't go overly aggressive that you invest with your money for other basic responsibilities or emergency situations. As a newbie the most important thing you have to know is how to figure out your Discretionary income because that's the first safety level of your bitcoin. Lol do you know what is gambling and what is Investing. You're with this since 2023 still lacking fundamental of the crypto. How do you mean that when you loss in bitcoin you still have a chance and when you loss in gambling you don't have a chance? Both ways, a loss is a loss and for your information the topic focuses more on how investors eventually transition from being an investor (HODLing for a long-term) into trading (gambling: selling off bitcoin in short-term) due to various factors which can range from FOMO, FUD or other factors that may involve investing beyond what you can hold through your initial HODLing target.

Investment turns into gambling when you stop using data and start relying on pure luck. If you buy an asset blindly hoping to get rich quick today, you are just placing a bet explain if you want to get rich quickly invest into something like bitcoin or into online business with it you can start with 50000 and earn massively up to 56000 and get what in a year after investing you can earn up to more them a million a year after.
chasing quick profits can make investing Become gambling, but I disagree with the examples you gave. Bitcoin is not a get-rich-quick scheme, and no one can realistically promise that ₦50,000 will become ₦1 million within a year. That's setting unrealistic expectations. The difference between investing and gambling isn't just using data, it's also having a long-term plan, managing risk, and accepting that returns are never guaranteed. If you invest in Bitcoin, do it because you understand its value proposition and are prepared to hold through volatility, not because you expect overnight wealth. If a person were able to invest ₦50,000 every two weeks, then after 40 weeks he would have had invested ₦1 million, and sure maybe it could take even a year to get the investment up to ₦1 million by investing ₦50,000 every two weeks. And, if we are really investing rather than trading, then our investment timeline should become 4-10 years or longer, so if we figure that we are able to put ₦1 million per year into bitcoin, then after 10 years, we would have had put in ₦10 million, and at the same time, we might question whether bitcoin is going to end up going up, down or sideways in the next 10 years. We cannot guarantee which way bitcoin will go, yet a lot of us who are in bitcoin and who have been in bitcoin consider bitcoin to be a good place to put time, energy and value because we consider that there are good odds that bitcoin's prices are going to continue to go up more than the value of dollars or of any other fiat. So, the most that any of us can lose is the amount that we put into bitcoin, yet we also have decently good chances that the value of our Naira will go up more if we put that into bitcoin rather than keeping it in naira or putting it into any other investment.. and at the same time, there are not very many investments that allow a person to put such a small amount of value in on a regular basis, since so many investments have a lot of barriers that make it harder to invest in them regularly, consistently, persistently, ongoingly and even for relatively small amounts of value.

I get it more clearer now, even though we know investing in bitcoin doesn’t guarantee returns but then it risk and entry points is far different from other investment. When it comes to the risk, in bitcoin, just like you said if a person invest 50,000 naira every 2 weeks by the end of 1 years he have been able to invest 1 million naira, so even if crashes the person loses exactly what he puts in, but unlike other investments where you will still have to pay for maintenance fee or even Margin calls. So when it comes to risk, all investment comes with it but with bit on you lose exactly what you put in, nothing more. And when it comes to entry point, I don’t think there is any investment that allows you to put in 50,000 naira every 2 weeks, investment like real estate and stocks will require you put bring in millions instantly. So with this it allows even an average man to have an investment. Bitcoin have not guaranteed over possible returns but with these now it allows you to invest at your own capacity. Another big advantage bitcoin have over investment liein stocks is it give you accessibility, with a smartphone you can begin your journey, but investment like stocks you will require maybe a laptop or even more.

I really understand your point here, because you bring out the must important point new investors should understand about bitcoin. which is, you shifts up the focus from price of bitcoin and bring closer the habit of investing consistently. This days a lot of people feel discouraged day by day just because how they look price of bitcoin costs day by day, that make them feel discouraged and think they can never accumulate enough bitcoins, forgetting that every business has gradually process than to do it at once. For sure about where bitcoin will be in 10 years that’s honest truth, as nobody promises future returns. If investor can only invest money they are comfortable with, that mean they do themselves exposure to asset they trust, as long term potential without their financial being at risk. I like the idea of how easy is it to started with bitcoin investment, bitcoin is different from other investments that require much funds before getting start, but with bitcoin, you can invest in gradually process by building your bitcoin position small, small that is for people who stay consistent and patient.

Judging from your date of registration, you’re a newbie, and your statement sounds more like you’re going to be speculating about bitcoin before making an investment, you don’t need any data analysis to start investing in bitcoin or are you trying to tell me that if someone isn’t using data to analyze bitcoin that person would merely depend on luck ? There is nothing like luck with bitcoin everything is absolutely obvious with bitcoin investment, bitcoin isn’t a get rich quick scheme, bitcoin isn’t a Ponzi scheme, what you require to start Investing in bitcoin is a discretionary income, and basic knowledge but that isn’t a criteria.

I can earn up to a million in a year if I invest ₦50000? The quicker you wake up from your delusions the better for you, bitcoin investment isn't something kind of a get rich quick scheme where you you just put money in with the plan of getting over 20 time your investment value in a year, it's people with mindsets like this that are very easily deceived and scammed of their money and after they get scammed they start to blame bitcoin, calling it a scam when it was their own greed that put them in whatever position they found themselves in, it will be for your own good if you changed this mindset you have about bitcoin.

I like the idea of how easy is it to started with bitcoin investment, bitcoin is different from other investments that require much funds before getting start, but with bitcoin, you can invest in gradually process by building your bitcoin position small, small that is for people who stay consistent and patient. Of course, with my example, I tried to show someone who might end up putting a lot of priority in buying bitcoin every two weeks with his ₦50,000-ish that he believes that he can reasonably accomplish every two weeks. And, for sure, normal people are going to frequently have various challenges in regards to their income and/or their expenses, yet they can still try to prioritize bitcoin investing within what they are doing within means that they believe to be reasonably accomplishable. Another reason that I stick with an example of ₦50,000 per 2 weeks is that it is easier to calculate as compared with changes that might end up taking place in regards to a guy's life and his ongoing income/expenses, so for simplicity in the example, we can try to average it out and then just work with a presumption of an average amount, even though we know that in reality the average is going to likely vary, even when a guy might even be ongoingly striving to maintain his average bitcoin buy amounts. Also related to the ease of bitcoin, as compared with other investments. There are ways that we can set up direct relationships to get the coins and then maybe every few months we transfer parts of our accumulated coins to our private wallets so that we do not end up losing our coins due to some third party risks. As you and others reiterated, other investments might have challenges in terms of being able to accumulate enough funds to be eligible to invest and sometimes there will be needs to get special connections in order to be able to invest, yet bitcoin is available to everyone and anyone and even for relatively low amounts each time, even though we might have goals to invest higher amounts, there may be periods in which we are ONLY able to invest small amounts while we are figuring out ways to increase our income and/or decrease our expenses.

Lol do you know what is gambling and what is Investing. You're with this since 2023 still lacking fundamental of the crypto. In gambling if you lost no chance of getting back but in btc there's a chance.
This is not how gambling and investing are distinguished. The difference between gambling and investing is not just that in one there is no chance of getting your money back, but in the other there is. Rather, in gambling you may win on your next bet, but if you buy Bitcoin at a high price and sell it at a low price out of fear, you may face permanent losses. In fact, the decision framework for investing and gambling is different. When you gamble, it depends on an event, and you are not building up any long-term asset ownership there. But when you are investing in Bitcoin with a long-term plan, it can be an asset for you. But just buying Bitcoin does not make it an investment. If you buy it on credit or expect to get rich quick, sell it at a short-term decline and speculate on the market, then you are using Bitcoin, but it can become close to gambling. Investing, on the other hand, is the process of strengthening your position little by little with discretionary income after meeting all your necessary expenses and making a long-term plan but not assuming a guaranteed profit.

Well I think that the #50,000 example that you gave serves its purpose coz it very well gives most investors something practical to work with instead of you just leaving your explanation purely theoretical.. With a bit of research, I have observed that the reason why majority of folks delay in kickstarting their accumulation journey is coz they haven't gotten that huge or consistent income that they have always longed for.. Truth be told Bitcoin is for everyone regardless of your career, financial status, income level, Race/Nationality and whatnot... This means that I can be an average Nigerian guy who is still trying to make both ends meet, but still able to invest in bitcoin either in a consistent or inconsistent manner, depending on the availability of my Discretionary income... But then most keep missing out he point. Coz they still operate with that mindset of them comparing their financial life with Investor A and Investor B, and that comparison has been a blockage to them actually starting... In a way your explanation has broken down the concept of Bitcoin's divisibility... And because Bitcoin is divisible(into 100 million Satoshi's), it very well means that folks can start accumulating with whatsoever amount of discretionary income that feels comfortable for them... Instead of them remaining stuck with the mindset that Bitcoin is only for the rich folks or those with a consistent income...

Lol do you know what is gambling and what is Investing. You're with this since 2023 still lacking fundamental of the crypto. In gambling if you lost no chance of getting back but in btc there's a chance.
Gambling and Investment is a different things. However, if you lost your money in investement I don't really see the chance of getting it back, unless if you invest again and wait for the right time to withdraw then maybe you will get profit from it. Although, I understand that gambling and investment is not even close to each other, but one thing is for sure Bitcoin investment is not prediction like gambling you must be knowledgeable about what you are trying to put your money into. While gambling is all about peediction.

You should be specific cause the only way people can suffer lose from Bitcoin is if it's traded with or stored wrongly or exposed to hackers or a third party, Bitcoin is a progressive asset which dips and recovers as time goes. So if you invest in Bitcoin properly and store it in open source address that's back by a passphrase then your security is accured and even thouh it dips, Bitcoin has proven to improve throughout it's history so there's hope that holders would recover their loses on the long run.

Yes you are right, there is not certainly that after every Dip There will be a recovery, but historically it has been like that. If bitcoin Dips, it has always been followed by a recovery period within 2-4 years. So it not asif it will continue to be like that but it has always been like that. So to put it in a simple term, while bitcoin have always recover base on history, it Doesn’t still guarantee that the future will always be the same. So advisable if you are to Invest, prioritize using discretionary income because some Dip could take 5 years or more to recover from.

It now clearer to me, the goal is not to be a perfect investor but to be consistent with what you are investing, base on your time space, it could be a week, 2 weeks or even a month, but remain consistent with the accumulation. So even when things get a bit hard for you, instead of choosing to abandon your accumulation, you can just cut down what you are investing. Let say in a case when you invest #50,000 and you begin to face some difficulties you can just cut it down to #30,000 until you get your financial stability then you move it back to #50,000 Bitcoin invest also remains the most affordable investment you can get into, it low entry point have made it very easy for even a common man to invest in. It also gives you that total control of your assets. Bitcoin will always be that tool that allows even an common person to build wealth over time.
