Emergency fund is as important as your investment. For your investment to grow, you need an emergency fund as a back up plan.
Take for instance, you don't have emergency funds somewhere or a backup somewhere to fall back to and you start your investment journey, when situation hits, you'll be forced to tamper with your investment capital and it's profits, therefore making it difficult to keep growing your investment, and if the situation is very critical, you might end up wiping clean your investment, and you'll have to start afresh. There are some kind of people who finds it difficult to start afresh, in a situation where you're such a person, the journey may become too long to start again.
Emergency funds is important but don’t mistake it and say it as important and ones investment. We have seen people delay their investment because they feel they need to build their emergency funds, but that totally wrong. Bitcoin investment is never to be delayed, as soon as you have your discretionary income, then you can begin your investment journey. The only thing is when you have your discretionary income to begin your investment, you can begin to look for more discretionary income so can start building your emergency funds. So yes emergency funds is important for every successful bitcoin investment, but not as important and the investment itself.

Of course, don't forget to keep a cash fund as well. Cash funds can sometimes be used as an emergency fund, and sometimes you can buy Bitcoin when the price drops. In my opinion emergency funds and cash funds are equally important for holding Bitcoin.

Your argument is not making sense man. Do you even understand what having a financial cushion means in Bitcoin investment? Imagine using all your discretionary income to buy Bitcoin without building any form of backup funds(with the hope of your income increasing later). Then an emergency comes up before your income gets better, and there’s nothing on ground to take care of it. Don’t you know the person may have no choice but to sell his Bitcoin? You don’t have to choose between building the two, of course it can be built at the same time. And I am not saying your finances has to be 100% perfect before investing. If the discretionary income is reasonable, you can start small and build emergency funds at the same time. But if too small or nothing remaining to use, then the focus should be on improving cash flow so there will be more room.

I guess you are adding too much stuffs to this Bitcoin investment and trust me it will confuse newbie the most because talking about cash fund, emergency funds, cash flow, is really confusing honestly perhaps you should make things very clear and simple because may find it difficult to comprehend and work with the information therefore, what is needed for our Bitcoin accumulation or investment is discretionary income and emergency and off course these are the function of source of income and as someone grow they can figure out things that will be necessary for them.

However, I think it would not be right to completely exclude these issues such as cash fund, emergency fund and cash flow. These issues are not something to complicate investment. It is helpful to understand how much money a person can put into Bitcoin regularly. One person's income may be permanent while another may be irregular. In both cases, it is necessary to first understand how much surplus is actually left after meeting the necessary expenses and how much of that money can be invested. The issue of cash flow is relevant here. Similarly, the purpose of an emergency fund is not to create conditions for buying Bitcoin. Rather, it is to ensure that it is not sold at a loss if suddenly needed. When explaining things to beginners, it can be said very simply without bringing them into separate financial concepts. First, arrange for necessary expenses and emergency needs, then make regular DCA in Bitcoin with a part of the money that is really surplus. The amount of that part will vary depending on the income, responsibilities and financial situation of the person. As experience increases, he will be able to adjust this structure better according to his situation. Give a new person such a simple basis so that he understands that investing in Bitcoin means not investing by removing the necessary money. Planned investment of the money that is actually left over after meeting needs.

So yes emergency funds is important for every successful bitcoin investment, but not as important and the investment itself. Those who are waiting just because they don't have an emergency fund are certainly making an irrational decision. However, emergency funds and Bitcoin investments are not mutually exclusive, so it may be irrational to discuss which is more important. The purpose of an emergency fund is not to compete with others to buy Bitcoin, but rather to create a financial buffer so that the investor is not forced to sell even in bad situations. Therefore, it is important to focus on building an emergency fund along with investing. For example, an investor is regularly buying Bitcoin with his discretionary income. But if suddenly after a few months his income stops or a large emergency expense comes up and he does not have an emergency fund, he may be forced to sell even if the market is down. This will damage his long-term savings plan.

Cash fund is the same thing as emergency funds, so stop using them separately as if they mean different things . Life can get so fucking messy at times and it dumb to now use your emergency funds or cash fund to invest in Bitcoin because it will seriously affect the person whenever emergency comes and there is isn't any fund to use to solve it. Even if person discretionary income is small,.the person can also go ahead to use it to invest and as they go that. To go and now and start o be investing with cash fund., and along the way, they can looking for how to increase their discretionary income.

He's right they're not the same, while one is a reserve money the other is a money that can be gotten from the reserved money but strictly for emergency purposes, it can also be generated from reserved cash that's why people feel they're the same thing, even though it's derived from it, the emergency fund is strictly for emergency purposes. Someone can choose to assign a particular amount from the cash reserve for emergency purposes which is the emergency fund. Also, the cash reserve can be used to sustain an investment temporarily like in times of a job loss, but the emergency funds is assigned strictly for emergency situations so they are not same.
