What a sad thing. I was actually super excited about this project. It had a ton of potential. It just shows how amateur these guys were. They could've really made this into something and made a shitload of money. But they gladly threw away the baby with the bathwater for peanuts. Maybe $10k is a lot of money for them.

I abandoned the project when I realized Elvis and Tongpu were the same person. You just had to do some very superficial digging to figure this out. The timing, the Harry Potter references.... man, dead give away. May this be a lesson for the ones who got scammed: DYOR.

Also, if you installed their wallet or miner, I would suggest you to make sure there were no backdoors installed in your computer. I wouldn't trust any of this code. Throw this away.

yeah haha ive watching all this drama unfold for the past week, it's not fun watching the rest of them argue

they keep saying they want to restart the project but im still waiting for them to do so. instead of arguing with each other lets rebuild the project from last block when the seed nodes went offline or either from block 0

and keeping the atom part of it alive also, because, i don't know, maybe there is a hidden secret to this project, rather than it being just a scam attempt, maybe there is something to this

i think maybe we should keep the atom alive, elvis probably left some codes hidden away, and the atom was probably some sort of a hint of the next development step for bitok

im not quite to sure on how to read codes, but it's entirely upto you to decide wheter it is a good idea to keep the atom or not. if you could look at the whole bitok code, analyze it and get an understanding of it, maybe then you'll get a sense of an idea if its a problem to keep it or not

but my guess is to keep it intact maybe because there could be some secrets hidden within the code

and thank you for leading the way forwards to continue the fork and the future developments of bitok

im not an expert on this but

i think keeping everything original as bitcoin as possible is the best bet, maybe there will be more solution to these current issues in the future to fix and decentralize bitok further
