I don't really advise anyone to buy Bitcoin. I just tell them facts. That's all we should do. This way, we are avoiding a "pointing fingers" type of event. We are not to blame for their choice because it's they who decided to buy Bitcoin.

Why? One part is because of the risk. Let's face it, the volatility of Bitcoin never fades away, even after the ETF happened. Then, there's still the FUD that I believe will not be erased because there are still people who believe it is just a bubble. Finally, there are so many options in the crypto market now, and they can pick what they want. We don't really need to force it on them.

No body can tell you when bitcoin price would make certain move.. we can predict it's short term movement but that shouldn't be a reason for someone to be scared about his investment plan. The years still fresh and anything can happen. Tell your friend not to bother much about price and use the dca method to invest in bitcoin as that would help him accumulate bitcoin at varying price level. There nothing to be scared of that would only delay his investment plan and may even discourage him even further. There will always be a time for the market to be bullish even if it goes bearish you just have to hold..

For me I don't think there are wrong times to buy Bitcoin as long as the price seems favorable then why not it doesn't matter what time of the year it is all you need do as an investor is to set your priorities right. I am optimistic about Bitcoin and I know it will certainly go up in the year because the just started so for someone who has an investment plan in this early part of the year then it's not out of place to buy, thats my personal opinion though.
I don't have a feeling that Bitcoin will fall in this year not at all I don't see that possibility of it falling rather I think it will rise in the coming months. Buying now and holding is the best investment plan for the year especially as the year just began.

I have a few friends/brothers to whom I introduce Bitcoin, and they become interested in investing in Bitcoin. Although I helped them to buy Bitcoin and crypto, I have given some advice to them. Because later they might blame me that I have influenced them to invest but haven't told them the potential risk of Bitcoin investment. So I make them aware of how volatile Bitcoin is. I showed them how Bitcoin moved forward from the beginning. How it's been falling and how it's been rising as well.

After a few days they start investing. I advise them not to invest all together and teach them about DCA and how we could take advantage of the volatility. So it will reduce the risk since you are getting more coins at lower prices. So all the risk they acknowledge, and now they are accumulating. I am not sure how long they could hold; if they sell earlier, then they might miss the ATH. Now it depends on them how they are ready to handle their holdings. They told me if Bitcoin falls a lot, we will buy more; help us during the buying process. That was my main advice to them.

The friend in question is a newbie, it’s totally normal to panic as a newbie whenever bitcoin price falls but, panicking will not help matters reason why it’s important to learn the basic knowledge first before investing and if anyone is not able to hold and wait for a long term I will advise such person not to invest.

What’s the possibility if buying now with an intention to sell immediately will such person earn a nice amount of profit? If care is not taken the person might face a drastic loss. Bitcoin price is totally unpredictable, giving an exert prediction now is considered a misinformation, buying bitcoin now is actually safe although there’s no specific limit or time range to buy bitcoin. The market price is always preferable depending on an investor plan, a proper long term plan within 3 to 5 years and beyond definitely such plan will be profitable.

May I know what is the fact you tell them other than to buy bitcoin? Telling someone to buy bitcoin and HODL is the fact I know and I have done it in the past and can still do it again when the opportunity present itself. What I think is bad is making the process appear like a get-rich-quick something because it isn't. I will not also encourage anyone to go into trading because I know the inherent risk associated with that, hence, instead of trading, I will always prefer holding. My advise have not changed and that is the fact that now is a great time to buy bitcoin because in coming years, bitcoin might become very expensive for the weak minds to buy.

Whoever that is afraid to invest in Bitcoin,  it is better for the person not to bother to invest because when you go into Bitcoin investment with fear it is very possible that it may not end well. Remember that period where we hit 125k and then it was all okay and things looked okay, some people thought it would go up even more, even I believed that, but then one day it crashed to under 100k, same will happen if you give it enough time. This is why there is no reason why you should trust this to get better, we are going to see this be a very different situation and not really matter that much, it will definitely grow to be a better period for sure.

If you are introducing anyone to bitcoin, you shouldn’t just ask them to buy bitcoin, you have to introduce them to bitcoin and cryptocurrency generally, they should know what bitcoin is all about, the positive and negative aspects of bitcoin, some people do only talk about profits whenever they are introducing anyone to bitcoin investment which is so wrong, you should let them know that they can lose money if they invest in bitcoin, so Incase if anything happens you won’t be held responsible for that.

They should invest at their own risk, you shouldn’t brainwash them to invest in bitcoin. If you force some people to invest in bitcoin and they ended up losing, they going to tag you as a scammer, because you didn’t open up to them, and they going to think you scammed them.

Using the term “investing the amount you can afford to lose” doesn’t befit what bitcoin is or what it entails. Just invest the amount you can afford to spare into the investment, with time and proper planning, you can get to take profit at a very good rate as planned. And just image though, if someone ask you for advise when the price is at $89k, and now the price is going up and very bullish as this point. That person might be very happy though to buy at the price. Nevertheless, this is just the beginning, yes, it's a good entry, but you need to invest at least in the next couple of months or years and see if you are that a investors or just a trader as you might take you profits early.

Although I also predict that Bitcoin will enter a bear market in 2026. However, I would not advise anyone considering investing to stay away from it at this time. Because frankly speaking, there is no guarantee the cycle will repeat and the price of Bitcoin is certain to fall this year. These are just predictions, and they may or may not come true. Meanwhile, we have DCA strategies, why should we completely avoid Bitcoin just because of uncertain prediction?

Nah, it seems your friend is not ready to take losses. He should understand first that losses are inevitable in crypto. If he’s too afraid to invest, then just advise him to wait for the bear market and keep doing DCA instead. If he’s still worried, then tell him not to invest at all. In crypto, if you want to make a profit, you must take risks, no risk, no reward. Is he expecting to make a profit right away once he invests? There’s no such thing. Maybe tell him the reality first and ask if he’s willing to take the risk. It’s 2026 already; BTC has come very far. It’s widely known now, and even governments and countries have invested in BTC. The “what if BTC goes to $0” scenario has very little to no chance at this point.

You can advise your friend to continue investing in long-term planning and DCA procedures. If you buy bitcoins through DCA method then you will get opportunity to buy at average price. Now your friend is a newbie so it is normal to be afraid. And maybe your friend doesn't have enough knowledge about Bitcoin so ask your friend to gain more knowledge about Bitcoin.
