Maybe I'm wrong with his father though as you have said, he could return as trainer. I thought that he retired since Garcia has been with trainers like Goosen, Derrick James and Eddy Reynoso. But it looks like his father, Henry Trainer will be training him again against the Barrios fight. Maybe it could help him as it will bring back the old partnership. However, it's been a long time since he was under his father and there could be a lot of new things regarding trainer that his father is not accustom now.

In fairness to Mario Barrios, I believe he was starstruck by Manny Pacquiao. He respected the Pacman so much that he held back, focusing more on surviving the full 12 rounds rather than showing his true abilities. Against Ryan Garcia, however, I expect Barrios to display his real caliber and give Garcia a serious challenge. While the bookmakers favor Garcia due to Barrios’ performance against Pacquiao, this matchup could reveal a very different side of him.

I saw the posted odds for their fight on stake.com, and it is 2.65 for Mario Barrios and 1.44 for Ryan Garcia, which is a bit unexpected, to be honest. Mario Barrio being the current belt title holder, you'd assume that he'd be the favorite but he is not.

All news articles say that King Ry's fat father Henry will be the trainer, King Ry has said that his fat father will be his trainer, the fat father has also confirmed that he will train King Ry.

Goosen, Derrick James and the grandmaster Mexican trainer Eddy will not train him, however, King Ry's team requested to be trained by Eddy but it appears that they were rejected.

Usually we could see that Barrios perform so good especially when he's well discipline and focus, also the explosiveness of performance shown by Garcia often happens on early rounds.

If It happens that Barrios can able to pull an early momentum and have patience to land good punch also have perfect timing against Garcia maybe we could really see that he's on upper hand in this match.

Just a little bit surprised, but honestly, Garcia is my favorite despite his situation now. But sometimes I think, are the odds really a helpful tool to determine who is likely to win, or do they say who is more popular?

That is why I don't focus on odds differences. I look deeper and make their stats a factor to bet on. Yeah, I believe it will be Barrios who will take it, but of course, Garcia seems aggressive.

Well, it is expected to have a good fight anyway. But I hope it will never end in a draw.

It appears that something has occurred in training when King Ry was training under Joe Goosens. It will not be very shocking for me if Goosens will accuse King Ry of having no discipline and he does not listen to instructions. This will be certainly why the grandmaster Mexican Eddy has rejected all of the requests of King Ry's team to train Ryan. King Ry might have not changed his spoiledness and always causing problems before the fight.

I'm not sure what's happening behind the curtain, but what we know and this has been confirmed as well by Canelo that Garcia doesn't have the mental discipline to train hard or maybe there have been conflicts with what Garcia wants and what Goossen strategy is as a trainer. And so Garcia move to another trainer by it didn't turn out well and so he goes to his father again. While Barrios seems to be confident and just trying to be low profile and low key and the typical that he wanted his fist to do the talking and not be intimidated by Ryan Garcia's supposedly trash talking with his trainer right now. If he can show the version of him that beats Haney, then for sure, he will win that fight. But if he shows the version against Rolly that is sloppy and as if he didn't train for a fight, then he might take an L again.

I was also hoping to see a action pack in this game, for sure Ryan might try to control the fight from the beginning with his left hook. But I'm seeing that Barrios will be prepared for it to counter with his right hand.

Barrios is the underdog so that is a good bet for him. We love to see underdog winning as obviously the payout is good. And if Barrios wins then maybe he will get the respect of being a champion after that draw fight with Manny Pacquiao.

No. the odds were not really helpful in determining the winner. Don't you forget how many bookies were in favor Garcia over Rolly, but Rolly came out as a winner. So it's telling the truth if result still unpredictable. There are numerous factors affected the result, and it's not only based on the odds.

As for Garcia vs Barrios, many overestimating Garcia to win it by KO, but who knows he will perform as bad as his fight against Rolly, then Barrios win it.
