Yeah, it's sure possible to gamble even while battling high blood pressure but like I said in my last comment on this topic, it's very important not to take too much risk that if when lost, leaves the person thinking deeply and sadly and  feeling depressed concerning the loss, this could raise the person's already high blood pressure to a higher number in a manner it could become extremely dangerous.

There is always a way to gamble that won't leave the gambler thinking too much and or feeling bad about the money they have lost to the games they play, this is how every high blood pressure patient should gamble to enjoy the experience and as well maintain a good and healthy life.

It is not advisable for someone is such situation to gamble because gamble has a high risk and someone with high blood pressure doing something that also has a high risk with little chance of win will go through worst pain because he will not win when he expects. Although he can gamble but with small amount of stake that he can afford to lose. And he's not supposed to expect any winning from gamble if not after the loss he his blood pressure will increase.

From what I understand, having high blood pressure don't matter that much because it's a medical condition that can be managed and it don't stop you from gambling, let the person just take it's medication seriously and for gambling it do not cause stress and I don't think gambling is the real problem and  let the person just manage it's health issue because life must go on.

It all depends on the person’s reason for gambling. If a person is gambling to make money from gambling, I will never advise such a person to gamble with high BP, because it will continue to cause more damage, which can even lead to something unexpected. I do not think it is good to gamble with such high blood pressure.  That BP seeks medical emergency so you should worry about the health not the gambling engagement.  Any stimulation can trigger the BP to further increase, which can be fatal.  So with that condition, I don't think playing or engaging in gambling that triggers a lot of different emotions, is good, or safe.

He asked for your advised and yet he continue to gamble? So not sure, it looks like your friend is addicted to gambling already and despite that blood pressure, continue to gamble. I'm not medical expert but it's obvious that kind of bp is not good as it is very high and it could have a dire effect on him specially if he losses that money and then he can't psychologically take it.

I think the determining factor would be whether or not gambling is a source of relaxation for him or not.  If he's losing and screaming until he's red in the face, gambling is probably not the right call.  If he is enjoying himself and finding it a calming activity, I see no issue with it.  I am of course not a doctor and am wearing a casino advertisement, so take everything with a grain of salt.
