If your friend has been diagnosed with high blood pressure gambling is not the first thing to worry about, you friend or you that has high blood pressure should be taking your medications, eat healthy foods, exercise, talk to your health care professionals.
As a person diagnosed with high blood pressure you can stop to gamble but your health condition will still worsen. If you gamble as a business and not for fun I think you should stop gambling.

If it is still possible to overcome the problem especially for psychology and of course the possible symptoms of hypertension that will be experienced then maybe this can be considered but honestly I'm not too sure about this because when high blood pressure is like this then it is certain that when gambling which is always messing with the emotions that gamblers have then there is a high probability that the results are not very good.

Why do some people even joke with their health. If your Blood Pressure is ready that, then you should stay away from gambling most especially if the person is gambling just to make money. You need to make sure you are at least in a normal state before you pushed yourself in a life threatening situation. Do remember, you can always gamble anytime you want if you are okay. That's sort of what I said, but I am not a doctor so I think if you are someone who is worried about your heart, you should ask people who know what they're talking about.  I've always kept in pretty good shape so I've never had any chats with my doctor about high blood pressure.  I'm sure if you have had trouble with your heart or high blood pressure in the past, it is probably good to avoid gambling situations even if you are a cool and collected individual.

Well it is not advisable for a person with high blood pressure to stake high, knowing his health status, but the amount displayed here which is $60 is not that big to increase a person blood pressure if he loses. Except that the person in question is very poor and losing such amount will increase his blood pressure. Apart from that, I don't see that as a big deal. My advice is that a person in such Condition should either stop completely or just gamble the amount that will not affect his health condition.

Did you just made this number up? Because at 180 you are already in the hypertensive crisis range,  that's stage 3 of hypertension, you will be so lucky not to try and fall while working and still be alive, you are close to been dead, this is why I asked if you made up that number, so therefore I won't believe this.

My advice to anyone that high high blood pressure when it comes to gambling is to start gambling if they don't want to be around the living anymore, if they are already feed up of living they are free to start gambling, it's a good shortcut for anyone who is tired of living.

I agree that no amount of money is worth your health because money will still be here after all of us are gone so it's good to take money matters easy to avoid our blood pressure getting so high. But I don't think that it is mandatory that a BP patient should totally abstain from gambling, if the person is disciplined and can gamble responsibly I think they will be fine. Having bp doesn't mean that the person cannot take small risks now and then, aside gambling life is full of risks so I don't think that calculated risks can be harmful to them. How does a spike in emotions affect their condition? If it can trigger a rise in their blood pressure then it's better for them to not gamble at all at the time because certain losing conditions can become very dangerous for them if care is not taken, imagine that they are seemingly winning every game until the very last one decides to go against their expectations and they end up losing their entire game, I have seen healthy people get sick over situations like this which makes it even more dangerous for someone who already has a higher BP.
