These levels isnt something that you should be confident on because we do know that one cardiac arrest trigger will definitely be ending up your life. I'm not a doctor, but it's easy to imagine that high-stakes betting doesn't mix well with high blood pressure, don't you think? If the person insists, the least they could do is bet low amounts, without any expectations, or simply take a break until their health is under control.

I agree with you, if he gambles a certain small amount so that it doesn't affect him if he loses, then his blood pressure is not likely to increase. I mean, gambling is a high-stress and high-intensity environment where the adrenaline can raise your blood pressure even further. If you have an existing medical condition, then it is highly advisable that you avoid any situation that can raise it.

You are absolutely right, my neighbour's wife battled with this condition all through last year being 2025, at a point, many of us including the husband thought she was going to die, it was so bad that the day she was discharged from hospital after having spent over a week there, the both (the husband and wife) couldn't immediately get any means of transportation home, they were both strolling to the next bus stop and suddenly, the woman collapsed, they had to rush her back to the hospital.

I thank God she's but better and stronger right now but the doctor who handled her case specifically told her to avoid anything that could increase her blood pressure, like thrilling movies, watching football match, getting surprised, she was even told to avoid little things like watching the news on tv or listening to news on radio if something will easily surprise her.

I wouldn't say you should completely give up gambling. Maybe I'd just keep playing if I were you, but I did it in a strictly controlled and extremely careful manner, always keeping in mind that health is most important, because it's our foundation. If you can't limit yourself and you understand this in a sober state, then it's best not to play. Just don't test yourself or think you can figure things out. It might not happen. This isn't a joke, it's very serious. Otherwise, it could happen, so it's best to think about it beforehand.

Don't give that man another reason to increase his BP. You'll be blamed for that, believe me because these people who asks you some money are addicted to it. And when they lose, you also lose. See, that guy knows his problem more than we do, I don't know why he decided to bring that question up now when he knows the answers already. If you play around with your health, you will get double later, it's a non fact. Some old aged people have collapsed after winning a huge amount of money in the casino and when you check their health history, it's because they have one underlying health problems they have refused to check out due to gambling addiction.

When your BP is high, gambling is not suppose to be for you, anything that will increase your tension, you are not suppose to involve yourself in it. Gambling is suppose to be for fun, but if you can notice that gambling is already after your life, then it’s better you stop gambling. If your BP is already high, then your life is already in danger, so if you know gambling is going to cause more problem, then just stop gambling.

To some people $60 is a little amount of money, but to some people it’s really a huge amount of money, so if you notice that $60 is really a big amount of money, then it’s better you completely stay away from gambling, because you causing more danger to yourself. Right, I had not thought about it... That guy could perfectly borrow money in order to get medical attention to control his high blood pressure and yet, he has decided to borrow money to gamble while he does not have control over his own health.

That to me it is a very clear sign of addiction and lack of proper priorities. If that man had some family members or friends who cares about him, then they should forcibly make him quit gambling and opt for self-exclusion.

And next time they should actually borrow some money to get his blood pressure under control.
