The Nigeria government is not relenting when it involves matters with crypto. They're tirelessly working hard enough to ensure they're sealing every move to impose the new law about Nigerians paying taxes per transaction. This is becoming really serious and Nigerians are not bother at all with the current look of things. It doesn't baffle a Nigerian to see the government putting in everything to ensure this new law is executed and this time without any boundary.

I swear it's crazy how our government dey think at times like dem dey always find way to get involved after all the suffering for this country. No work and on top of that, our Naira still dey undergoing high inflation and devaluation. But still I think the thing is that dem go only fit tax witin them dey see. So as far as we try as much as possible to keep our transaction form their eyes, we nor really owe them anything na watin dem see nia dem go fit tax.

That said as a crypto enthusiast we have got to move our coins to private wallets and Dexs because to me this is the only best option. Basically nobody go bother to ask you for your NIN or TIN. So na the thing just be that. soon Centralised exchanges go become something else and na why we also gat dey active for news on watin all this government dey talk So that's just it bro...

This is a very nice suggestion from @ Doan9269 and surely the best way to escape this is to stay clear from centralized exchange because most of the centralized exchange might be working with the government and this can help them achieve their plans but as for decentralized exchange there's no way the government will track your transaction, for me I'm not even bothered about this because I make used of decentralized exchange and not centralized exchange. And I would like to take this suggestion that said avoid anything that suggest for crypto payments, i would be making my online purchase through bank transfer instead of using Bitcoin.

Our country don become another thing that each passing day, peso go hear wetin go make them think of running away from this country. Cos em get as em be, you go d earn, em go d like sae no d earn anything, and on top of that the government wan tax you for the little way you d make ends meet for yourself. You can see how wicked our present government can be, not minding the suffering of the people.

Make 2027 come sha, make peso vote on their fate again for a working government not as bad as this one cos we can't afford to waste another four years of our life to a bad government as this

@OP I understand your concern about how a lot of people especially crypto holders are not commenting yet on this disturbing matter, you know that it is still a breaking news and with time there will be more comments on the topic. The matter tire me, I don't understand why in the heat of the new tax law that we are trying to adjust with now they are witch-hunting crypto holders with tax matters. This is so unnecessary, they should've let crypto holders be since they are already taxing the centralized exchanges that we use. Cryptocurrency is not banned in Nigeria, but it is very clear that they want to make holding cryptocurrency difficult for crypto holders in the country, there is nothing we can do about it but comply if it kicks off.

You should give few examples of those decentralised network atleast, I am here to find answer but yours only left some clues behind, pls can you give one or two platforms where they are actually decentralised completely.

the greatest fear of every politician is to see you financially independent. They don’t want it because they see it as a setback to their control and grip over their dictatorship. I don’t know what they benefit from it but most leaders love it when you are financially crippled and have no real choice than to come to them for a rescue. I am still wondering why a leader will not wish for you what the wish for them and their loved ones yet you wished them all the best by voting for them

Talking about this is something I don't want to get disturbed with not only because I feel it has no or less effect on a Nigerian bitcoin user, these are part of the things that makes crypto a forever generation outstanding currency, with proper understanding of the P2P transactions are known to only the sender and the receiver this is to say the TIN has no knowledge pertaining to your transactions, the most important thing now is to do without exchanges,
In other ways this will help some of us reduce the rate at which we sell coins because once you recall how much tax will be removed if the need to sell isn't that pressing some of us will not continue the transaction
I may say this sanction from the Nig. Gov. Is to shield Nigerians from having a free life, my advice to Nigerians is to stick to the P2P plan made already for matters like this

Thanks for reaching for more information regarding that, there are many platforms and entities claiming decentralized exchanges, but know that most of them were not actually decentralized, a centralized exchange that does not requires for KYC does not make it a decentralized one, here are the most recommended decentralized exchanges you can use safely.

1. Bisq
2. Hodl Hodl

Any other ones aside these two are not sure to be truly decentralized, except you confirmed their status from a developer or crypto expert, but as for the two mentioned, they are fully decentralized exchanges and trusted.
