I thank those who put in the time and effort to develop this function. I intend to keep using it and will notify you of any anomalies that I may observe, but at the moment, this update seems like an improvement.

I think I’ve sorted out the notifications panel. I can’t spot any errors in the worker myself, but I’d really appreciate your feedback on this.
I’ve now added quotes as well, so from now on you’ll see a notification in the ‘Notifications’ tab whenever someone replies to your posts. At the moment, it only handles quotes; tags and mentions aren’t available yet, but I’ll try to implement them later on.

Great update, mate, but I need to point out a few bugs.
First of all, mentions aren’t being notified; for example, if babo mentions me in a post using the tag @lillominato89, it doesn’t show up on the feed page.
Quotes work, but if I click on the notification, it takes me to the wrong message – the tool shows the right thread but the wrong post.

You’re right, I realised a little while ago that the cron job had disconnected and was no longer sending data.
Unfortunately, the worker didn’t receive any data for a good 40 minutes.
It’s now back online and everything should be working as before.

Can you share some general statistics about Simplex vs Telegram users on your bot?
I am wondering how popular this service is, as I failed to find almost anyone on that.

How are you able to access the bot then? Via proxy/VPN services?

Every time they do something as stupid as this, it just brings unnecessary inconvenience, nothing else. The people knows too well on how to bypass these restrictions, and yet the govt does this. Focus on those who abuses their powers and leaks these exam papers, not the platforms. Banning a platform does nothing, as we have so many alternatives for these..

I am not able to access telegram bot. I am using Ace's extension currently to check notifications.

I can't bypass restriction. I mean, I haven't tried much to begin with but I used some vpn, and it didn't work and I left it there cause I don't use telegram much these days anyhow except to keep up with bitcointalk's notifications and for that Ace's extension is sufficient in duration of the ban.

I used Turbo VPN and it worked fine on my Windows, and it is also available on Android, too I guess,

Also others said Telegram works with VPN in this thread: Telegram banned in India till June 22, any alternative for notifier?

So clear the app or force stop and then try opening it, which should work.

I haven’t noticed any major differences, so I don’t know what you’ve fixed; perhaps they’re minor details that you have to look very closely to spot.
In any case, I haven’t noticed any problems so far, but of course I’m not always online, so my feedback won’t be much use to you.

I am experimenting on my own little projet how difficult it is to keep everything working smoothly and correctly!

I might be too late asking this, but on the leaderboard page, I see user with different color (indicator), like green white purple and yellow! What are they supposed to be exactly?

I just installed the userscript on brave at different device, and everything seems to be working just as usual, noticing no insects (bug) from my side either.

Btw, the previously slow, activity feed, loads much faster now.

Edit: Sorry I take that back..can somebody check the "live feed" section? Is it working? Because when I click on it, the page just loads endlessly, going nowhere.

Yellow = inactive, dormant account
White = historical accounts

As for the live feed, all I’ve noticed is that the page loads slowly, but nothing out of the ordinary; once it’s open, it loads and displays the feeds without any problems.
It’s quite slow, though!

Yes, the slowness it's kinda noticeable, it seems all these newly added features/stats are the cause of it.

Of course, I’ll share what I can see on my smartphone here; I’m currently connected via my smartphone, but the view is much nicer on a PC.




That said, it takes about 10 seconds to load initially, but then it updates in real time and you can see the various feeds appearing and stacking on top of one another – it’s quite nice, even if the visual effect is a bit basic.

I’m looking for a VPS – do you know of any free VPS services?
One without KYC and, most importantly, one that doesn’t require a credit card?
My Raspberry Pi has decided to give up the ghost and, unfortunately, I can no longer run my tool.
At the moment, I’m using Termux on Android to run the cron job, but it’s not a long-term solution.
