That's why many of my friends, after registering at a new online casino, immediately send their documents for verification. What's the casino supposed to do, anyway? After all, they don't know if someone deposits $100,000 and starts losing it. So I think this is a reasonable approach. The main thing is not to register at a completely unknown online casino, because that would essentially be handing over your documents to strangers online. And that data could then be used for hacking.

Yes indeed, upon registration on a gambling site the casinos should state all their requirements so that the gamblers will know if they are fine with it or not, if you will require KYC sometime in the future you can as well require it at registration. KYC is our private information which many people are not comfortable to submit later on and it makes more sense to require it at the start.
