It's becoming a norm that after a club sacks their coach they tend to play better than their previous games especially in the first game after which the coach was sacked. Now this is where it gets even interesting, the players are basically the same persons who have been in the team throughout those loosing days, with probably same formation.
Today Manchester united did same thing with 3 disqualified goals and a lead of 2-null against Manchester City, considering their previous form it's enough to be wowed at.

What are your thoughts on this?

we cannot always know what to expect when it comes to football, I'm not sure if anything about the game is scripted in leagues that arenot too popular but I can't say that confidently. when something unexpected happens like this it always seems scripted but it's actually not, that's just how the game is, even big clubs csn end up losing chances which can lead to them losing the game

You said it all. Some, maybe because of one or two incidents that might have occurred between the coach and the players, the players won't have any motivation to play good football; they won’t put in good energy in their games.

Sometimes this happens if maybe the coach is not really doing well, then the players won't be bothered to win their games. Sometimes this is a message from the players to tell the club they need a new coach who can move the team forward.

This is not a case or matter of match fixing; it's somehow related, but in this situation the OP is asking a question that relates to how players react and play each time they get a new coach and management, which sometimes has to do with either the way the old coach manages them and places them in places they don't like or doesn't make good use of substitutions at the right time. Some players might or could voluntarily underperform just to make sure they give a reason for the previous coach to be sacked.

What I know is you don't settle or perform very well where you ain't comfortable, when a team sign in a new Coach there would be excitement and new energy and that's on the ground that the past coach wasn't up to the task they require..so when one get over from a past coach and embrace a new one there's this energy they draw from it and make sure they do their best to deliver a great results.

It is possible that it is not Manchester United form that improved,it may be Manchester City’s form that declined, and that is the reason Manchester United had the opportunity to win the game. But it can still happen that it is the impact of a change of coach. The way some coaches talk to their players is always different. There are some sets of coaches that know very well how to motivate their players so they can get better results. Today, I am not surprised seeing Manchester United ending up winning the match because I know that Manchester City are not in that great form. And one thing again about football is that anything can happen. With sacking of coach, I don't think the team played better. Is the boys plans for the coach to go. See after coach gives the orders they do there mind. And another thing teams  do after the sack of coach, they already have good records about a particular team.  Just like I said before team can be loosing once they meet that other team, because they believe know how play that team. Even if they are not in good form. You will see the result.

It's definitely hard to make it appear that a hosted game in football is scripted.

Remember, official matches are heavily regulated and scrutinized. Thousands to millions of people are watching all around the globe tuning in to their favorite team. If a certain team is found or alleged to be fixing the match, they will not only face penalties but also they would be absolutely banned from the sport itself.

There may be some coincidence right there and there where you might think some matches are scripted. But at the end of the day, football is a sport that is DIFFICULT to fix especially that the consequences are heavy on both the player and the team.

It's possible for football to be scripted and it also depends on the league, I don't think that top leagues in Europe, that you and I know will be scripted, they have so much to loose if they descend so low, their reputations will be ruined. As for being in better form after the sack of a coach, I believe that the players will be more energized to play with the formation of a new coach who they will want to impress. For lower leagues it should be expected because players and officials can be bought over quite easily. Although I have heard where players won't play to instructions from their coach because they don't like him, in such situations they will want to play better with a new coach to rubbish their sacked coach.
